According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver A.J. Jenkins clearly showed up to rookie minicamp out of shape. Head coach John Harbaugh clearly noticed how winded Jenkins got after running some routes. “Out of shape, that’s the bad news,” Harbaugh said of Jenkins and the entire group of rookie receivers per Tim Kawakami of the Bay Area News Group. “Good news is that it’s a very talented group of young receivers, could tell that right away. “Bad news is that we’ve got to get them in shape. Don’t know exactly what all these guys were doing for the last six months.” Jenkins certainly didn’t impress his new coaches by showing up not ready to play football.
