Earlier today we reported that 49ers cornerback Tarell Brown forfeited $2 million in workout bonus’ this offseason by not showing up to the 49ers facility.
According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, Brown found out he lost the money via Twitter. He then fired his agent.
Tarell Brown said he learned of his $2 million loss this morning on Twitter … Called his agent immediately after and parted ways.

Brown was certainly at fault for not reading his contract, but his agent should have also made sure he knew he had to show up.
