According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco 49ers plan on signing free agent linebacker Clark Haggans to address their shortage of linebackers.

“The 49ers plan to address their shortage at outside linebacker by signing former Cardinals and Steelers defender Clark Haggans, according to a league source. The 12-year veteran, who was released on Friday, will sign with the team Sunday pending a physical,” wrote Barrows.

Haggans recorded 46 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 3 sacks last season.
