Niners wide receiver Michael Crabtree will miss his second straight practice today, said Jim Harbaugh, who added, helpfully, that Crabtree “was working through something.” Asked about Crabtree’s status, general manager Trent Baalke jokingly said Crabtree was “working through something,” but he was slightly more revelatory than Harbaugh. Crabtree’s injury is believed to be to his right ankle. Crabtree has had two surgeries on his right foot, but Baalke replied “absolutely not” when asked if Crabtree’s latest injury was connected to his foot. “Like any injury, you never know how long it’s going to take these guys to come back,’ Baalke said. “He’s working hard at it.”
