Falling to the bottom of the NFC West division isn’t a place the Arizona Cardinals envisioned themselves after they started 4-0 in 2012, but the 2013 offseason has instilled a new energy to the Cardinals’ franchise. A new Head Coach in Bruce Arians, new General Manager in Steve Keim and a new quarterback in Carson Palmer are the forces to hopefully bring this franchise back to prominence this season, but there are also about five other players poised to step up in a big way in 2013... • Nothing will change with the hapless Cardinals..including the pre-season B.S. propaganda getting some naive people thinking that THIS will be the year.
  • I agree- nothing will change as the same pieces are in place but with different names. The opportunities to make positive changes has once again been missed. This team has made a habit of trying to find older players for cheap and wring out what ever is left. Thus far, this has had an incredulously low percentage of success. Big name coaching changes have been miserable failures as well. The Whisenhunt-Warner moment in time was an anomaly to the pattern of historical failures. Fans still hope and pray, though, and still wish them the best year the Cardinals can put together. On a side note; Vince Young is still available and should be looked at as a back-up. This writer has a long enough memory to point out failures of this coach clearly and concisely. I'm just saying....
  • This time of year every team is contending for the Super Bowl. The Cardinals have a long and storied history of failure but what is different is that they have a number of outstanding athletes like Fitz, Docket, Campbell, etc. Can the new coaching staff pull that talent into a CONFIDENT team? For too many years, too many players in games anticipate that something will go wrong and when you do that, it will go wrong. I suspect that if the guys on here were so accurate in their predictions, they'd be in Vegas raking in the big bucks! Don't shoot the horse before the gate even opens.
