Thursday is right around the corner and the Dolphins will soon be finding out which new young talent will be helping this roster hopefully develop into a potential contender. You’ve got the NFL draft, you got the NHL and NBA playoffs…it’s a wonderful time to be a sports fans.
Throughout the offseason we have highlighted and locked into several draft options for the Phins including our mock draft post. While we have done a mini deep dive into some of the draft prospects here are the 5 most interesting storylines Dolphins fans should pay attention to for this week’s draft.
1) Who will replace Jake Long?
The Dolphins currently have maybe one of the weakest pairs of starting tackles in the league. Jonathan Martin is a young player who hopefully can develop but currently can’t be trusted to keep Ryan Tannehill healthy.
The Dolphins will most likely go one of 2 directions this week/weekend.

Your impression of the Dolphin’s schedule probably depends on whether you’re a glass half-full or half-empty person. On the one hand, the team never has to travel any farther west than New Orleans. That makes for a lot of short road trips and no jet lag. On the other hand, the Dolphins’s opponents have a combined win percentage of .519, seventh toughest in the league...

This week, everyone seems to have a rumor about the Miami Dolphins and a theory about what they are going to do in this year’s draft. The truth is, this is exactly what the Dolphins want. They do not want anyone to know if they are trading up, or down, or sideways (wait, what?). They don’t want other teams to know what players they are really interested in. This time of year...
