Matt Flynn just made himself a ton of money with a standout performance including a Green Bay Packers’ record 6 touchdown and 480 yards passing.  Flynn was drafted in the 7th round of the 2008 NFL Draft and is now a free agent moving into 2012. Unlikely to stay with the Packers as no one will be replacing Aaron Rodgers anytime soon here are five teams that should turn to Flynn to find success in 2012. 1. What Sanchez lacks, Flynn has. In the two games he started he moved the Packers offense up and down the field against the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions. Sanchez has struggled moving the Jets anywhere. After the game and after losing three straight to finish 8-8 and fall short from Ryan’s Super Bowl pledge, news has surfaced the Jets will revamp the offensive coaching staff. The first thing a new coach will say? If you plan on getting to the Super Bowl [...]
  • How about the Redskins, they need a QB as bad as anyone.Since Flynn is a free agent maybe the skins can use their pick on a OF lineman or a receiver.

Packers backup QB Matt Flynn could start vs. Lions on Sunday

Packers coach Mike McCarthy started the week planning to play all three of his quarterbacks in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Lions. Now, it seems like a heavy helping of Matt Flynn is more likely. McCarthy did not name a starter Friday, but he indicated after practice that Flynn will play most if not all of the game in place of starter Aaron Rodgers.

Cowboys at 8-8, another lost chance for veterans

The Cowboys finished 8-8 in Garrett's first full season. Jones says Dallas has to take...

Maurice Jones-Drew made a wicked statement in his bid to claim the NFL rushing title, as he broke loose for 169 yards on 25 totes. He ends...

Predictions About Cowboys-Giants Do Not All Spell Doom

The Cowboys fans I know the best are not optimistic about Sunday’s game against the Giants. I am not optimistic about the Sunday’s game against the Giants. I expected plenty of others to feel the same way. Most commentators, including nearly everyone with NFL Network and ESPN, have picked the Giants. As it turns out, though, both of the major Internet simulators have picked the...
