1. The Ravens can still get after the quarterback. Even without that defensive genius, Rex Ryan, and the All-World linebacker, Bart Scott, the Ravens have enough talent on defense to put a hurting on a quarterback. Although the Ravens had just two sacks, they hurried quarterback Kyle Orton into short throws. Greg Mattison should have turned his guys loose weeks ago.
2. Lardarius Webb is special. Against the Broncos he single-handedly put the special back into special teams for the Ravens. When somebody needed to make a play, none was bigger than the rookie's kickoff return to start the second half.
3. Joe Flacco is still Joe Cool. Even under the heavy pass rush of the Bronco, Flacco completed 20 of 25 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown. He also broke the Broncos' string of not allowing third-down conversions. His touchdown to Derrick Mason was a thing of beauty.
4. Those wily old No. 20s sure can play. Ed Reed of the Ravens and Brian Dawkins of the Broncos showed ...
