Does the decision to play Nick Foles this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all but throw a line in the sand as to the direction of the Philadelphia Eagles this season?Michael Vick is still listed as questionable, according to a report by Chris Wesseling and NFL.com. At the beginning of the week, Vick was all but certain to be on the bench when the Eagles took their first snap in Tampa Bay with Foles, the second-year product from Arizona, getting the start. Now, as told in Wesseling’s report, a decision on the starter may not be made until game day, citing, “A source close to the situation told the Philadelphia Inquirer "it's doubtful" that Vick will play.Injuries have been a losing battle for Vick since he signed with Philadelphia four seasons ago. While his first year as a starter was dynamic where Vick took the league by storm, the injuries have mounted up since then, leading him to not perform well and play erratically. If the future is going to be bright in Philadelphia, it will have to come on the arm of either Foles, who has proven he can win in this league, or rookie Matt Barkley, who is essentially a clipboard carrier this season. Will Vick be part of the team’s plans for 2014 and beyond in Chip Kelly’s arsenal? In February, Vick signed a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to ESPN.com,  that essentially could pay his as much as $10 million for the season. As read in ESPN.com’s story, “This contract replaces the six-year, $100 million contract Vick signed in 2011 and he now is scheduled to be a free agent after next season.”If Vick is a free agent and he is healthy (a big if) where does he go? Would he still be a starter or starting material? Here are a few teams that might look at Vick.Tampa Bay BuccaneersIf the Mike Glennon experiment fizzles and the team waits until the second round to draft a passer (David Fales), could a new coach (Lovie Smith) come in and change the culture of this team and bring in a new quarterback? Vick would not only help with the transition of a new quarterback, but would offer the Bucs some offense of his own to go along with running back Doug Martin.Jacksonville JaguarsI have been championing this one for a while. Vick in Jacksonville does a few things. Since it appears both Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne will be looking for another team to call home next season, Vick is the bridge between the franchise quarterback (Teddy Bridgewater, Tajh Boyd) and the future. Vick is certainly skilled enough to get the ball to Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon and he could be another running option should the Jaguars let Maurice Jones-Drew leave via free agency and have to find another cow bell running back.Pittsburgh SteelersI am just throwing this one out there. The Steelers are a mess this season and I am not putting the blame on Ben Roethlisberger - it is given to the entire team. Roethlisberger is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the league, but he is injury prone. This is a move solely to be a backup. But I could also see head coach Mike Tomlin and Todd Haley (if he is still there) devise plays in the game to shake things up a bit.Moving across the state could be a welcomed edition for the Steelers.Green Bay PackersThis is the same situation with Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers is not in anyway going to lose his starting job, but Vick is better insurance than Vince Young would have been, had he stayed with the team. This makes sense as long as Vick knows his role with this franchise. And of all the teams on this list, the Packers give him the best chance to earn a Super Bowl ring. Two other teams to consider: Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders.
