Every weekday, myself and fellow journalists receive a bunch of story pitches from publicity firms. Most of them are boring and possess zero news value. Some of these PR flaks get really annoying in that they will email 3-4 times after you’ve ignored them. During Super Bowl week, you’ll get more than a week’s worth in a day.
