TEAMS: Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, New York Giants
While no unit played particularly well against the Lions on Saturday, the only mistake by a member of the secondary that actually hurt the team was the Chris Horton pass interference play, the biggest play of the game. But, wait, I thought the two constants that contributed to the present underachievement of the defense were poor secondary play and questionable coaching? So far, so bad. The Redskins look terrible on offense, and decent on defense. Whatever criticism Jim Zorn receives, he deserves at this point. Campbell's decisions under pressure
I think this team, and ESPECIALLY Jason Campbell, would be a lot better off if JC could just make better decisions under pressure. B-Mitch even asked him about it postgame. It seems that he doesn't understand that he's allowed to throw the ball away under pressure. I can't remember one example...

Redskins rally to beat Bucs
Jason Campbell threw a career high three interceptions but second-half touchdown passes to Chris Cooley and Santana Moss propelled the Washington Redskins past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-13 on Sunday at FedEx Field. Reed Doughty and Chris Horton: The Depth Chart Switch And That Penalty From Last Week
Things have been pretty good for Reed Doughty this season, and he knows it. Every time I've spoken to him, he's emphasized just how much better he feels, how much smoother he's playing, what a difference this is from the start of last season. Here's what he had to say on Monday about his steadily-increasing role in the defense: "Whatever coach wants, whatever...
