A Win is A Win is A Win

We won. Simple as that. It is good to get out of here with the W. It's never easy winning on the road and the 49ers have a hard nosed defense that did a good job today. Like Coach said to us after the game this one was winning by any means necessary. You don't always win pretty, we rarely win pretty, but this was a just get it done win. You have no idea how important this was. We have a six-hour flight in front of us and I can't imagine what it be like on that plane with an L instead of a W. The atmosphere will be a lot looser, guys will be laughing. Everything will be better, the food, the movies, everything because we won.

"...we rarely win pretty..."

Sad but true; however, like you said, a win is a win.

Go Ravens.

Congrats, Mark!

I'm a niner fan so I can't congratulate you on this... but I do have a question.

what do you think of Patrick Willis? The rookie linebacker for the niners... I think he's been doing great but I want to know what opposing players think of his gameplay

a win is a win, and what a game!

great win man! i missed it, but like u said, A WIN IS A WIN! keep that way dude

Congrats on the win!!!

Awesome Clayton good to know ur plane ride will be good.... I hate going on planes with a bunch of upset people! You guys looked good today, i still think you deserve more passes lol.... I really hope we see a touchdown offensively next weekend! I still think you are the greatest person in the world!!!

Yes it was a win, but come on Mark, how many times did you have position on your man with no other defensive help around and not get thrown the ball? Only to see the quarterback dump it down? I know I counted at least three times you had a real chance for a long seven....Congrats, Tim

I have to agree......I see you getting open alot only to have McNair check down. We all know the history that he and Mason have, so i find it no surprise to see the other Raven receivers overlooked. Hopefully, things will change and they (players as well as coaches) will see just how valuable you really are before it's too late......congrats on the win!!!!! And keep my colors purple and black!!!!

Great win out their, this was a must win game. San Frans offense was under suspect and if we lost it would of opened up a world of critics. But two quick questions.
What is your stance on the Ravens dink and dunk offense, and is their anything being done to open it up a little.

Hey,hey, hey,Mark isn't going to be calling his QB out on a blog.Mark that down and take it to the bank.

I think it was an inspirational win, with all the young kids having to start on the O'line due to injuries.
And Syp' holding his own with Heap and Wilcox out.

Winning with that adversity on the west coast is a small block on building a foundation with the young guys, whether it is this season or seasons to come.

Unless you are the Colts or Patriots a play here or there will get you a win or loss in the NFL.

Keep your head up Mark, and don't let the grind of the season pull you down man.

GO RAVENS.

Paul,England.

Mark, McNair is killing you. Please tell Coach Billick to put in Kyle.

Signed,
Matt

I don't care what the question is -- Kyle Boller is not the answer.

No, actually he is. You must not know anything about him other than his 1st 2 years.

These people are right!!! I am sorry to say this about my own quarterback but mcnair needs a break! I have been ur number one since you were #9 in oklahoma and ur not about to lose me if you go to another team next year because u r better... but hey, maybe they will notice the whole mcnair thing and give kyle some time on the feild! At least he throws to you, gosh i am being to disrespectful to mcnair and i am sorry for that... i do hope he gets better and that groin problem is probably why his playing isnt the greatest right now.... I wanna let you know that i have seen you as a sooner and you are just the bomb. u know it too lol...

how bout them sooners! you said demarco was good and you were right!!!!!!!!

yay,way to bring messageboard QB arguements to Marks blogs.

When the going gets tough, the tough stick together.

Yep. A win is a win.

Hopefully McNair's groin will heal soon and he'll throw the ball a little better and scatter out the passing game a bit.

So many people are complaining about how the Ravens won. This was a must win game and even Rex Ryan admitted that the week leading up to the game. Who really cares how you win in a must win game? The only thing that matters is that you win it.

U rock #89 I am a student i loved u and Poe u guys rocked!!!!!

Mark, as a friend and fantasy team owner with you on it, I want to politely request that you demand the ball more. You're too good to be ignored on the field.

Also, which new guys on your squad are you really impressed with? Did that Kevin Willis kid from San Fran kinda remind you of a younger Ray? Same number and he also plays like he's slightly insane.

Mark Clayton will be taking over were Art Monk left off at the McDaniel College football camp in 2008. Congrats Mark.
