Found September 13, 2009 on Vikings Now:
Just wrapped up my stories for the paper. Figured I would share a few things that jumped out at me, both positive and negative. PROS 1) Brett Favre didn't force any passes. If anything, he was TOO tentative, taking at least two sacks that he normally wouldn't. But he made enough key throws, and I'm sure he had some adjustments that also worked in his team's favor. 2) Kevin Williams was absolutely dominant. Jared Allen had a solid game, and so did Ray Edwards and Pat Williams. But Williams looked, at times, unstoppable. 3) This may surprise you. But my third key was the play of cornerback Benny Sapp. He made several nice plays, including a tackle at the line of scrimmage. Last year, he looked like he gambled too much. But he didn't seem out of position today. CONS 1) The Browns had the league's 26th best run offense last year. Jamal Lewis is clearly on the decline. Yet, the Browns averaged 4.5 yards per run today. Sure, quarterback Brady Quinn gained 21 y...

Favre throws first touchdown

The Vikings offense just put together a very nice drive. Brett Favre completed all four of his passes for 43 yards, including a six-yard touchdown to rookie Percy Harvin. The key to the drive, though, was Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor, who pounded the ball eight times for 47 yards. Peterson had the longest run, a 19-yarder, but Taylor also had an eight-yard run. The Vikings...

WORST JERSEY EVER?

I'm not a Brett Favre fan myself. In fact, if given the chance this weekend, I plan on running on the field and sticking my fat ass in his face.So if you happen to see an out of shape 29 year old man running across Ford Field with his pants down, chances are, its probably me.Aside from that, I'm going to start a donation for this sad fellow in the picture. I understand...

On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings executed the game plan they will use all season to help them to be successful in 2009.
