Vikings Now:
The Vikings were all accounted for, at the early portion of today's practice. That, of course, includes Percy Harvin, Steve Hutchinson, Phil Loadholt and Ray Edwards.
Still not sure what the status of Darius Reynaud is. He didn't look like he was going to do much today. He has been limited the last two days in practice.
Besides, Jaymar Johnson has done a nice job of filling in for him, and the team may be inclined to play it safe, since hamstrings are a tricky injury for a player like Reynaud.

Battle of the Purple, 1998
So, the Vikings play the Ravens tomorrow. Despite both teams having a reputation for defense, and both are doing fairly well defensively, neither has been as stifling as might have been predicted. The Vikings are 14th in the league in yards/game allowed, and 9th in points per game allowed. The Ravens are 10th and 12th in the same categories, respectively. There are certainly caveats...

At least that’s what it’s seemed like: I say this because people like to harp on your favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings, for having faced some **** competition up to this point. Ravens seek turnaround; Vikings seek validation
Two weeks ago, the Ravens were undefeated, just like the Vikings. Since then, however, the Ravens have suffered back-to-back losses, and their defense suddenly looks vulnerable against the pass. Can Baltimore turn things around Sunday in Minnesota? A quick take on some issues that will help determine the winner of the Ravens-Vikings clash:
