GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay mayor is asking the public for suggestions to "tastefully" welcome back Vikings quarterback Brett Favre when he returns for a Nov. 1 game against the Packers.

Debate begins over how to greet Favre in Green Bay

OK, so the mayor of Green Bay wants a Top 4 list of ways to welcome Brett Favre back to town. Should be lots of fun, especially since most politicians have a great sense of humor.

Producing a wide smile

Minneapolis — As great as Brett Favre was Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback was pretty sure he wasn't good enough. So sure that the Vikings were headed to their first defeat of the season, Favre couldn't even bear to watch as Baltimore kicker Steve Hauschka lined up for a 44-yard field goal with 2 seconds to play. Ravens: Wow

The Ravens have made an amazing comeback in the fourth quarter, but all that has done is put them in the same situation they've been the past couple of weeks. They got the lead and they put the ball in the hands of the defense, which was not been equal to that task against the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals. So, what happens? Brett Favre makes another huge throw...

Disconcerting Numbers for the Vikings?

In 2008, the Minnesota Vikings finished 5th in the NFL in rushing offense, averaging 184 rushing yards per game. Conversely, the team finished 25th in the league in passing with a paltry 145-yard-per-game average. Those feats led the Vikings to twelfth in the league in points--14th after adjusting for defensive points contributed. The Vikings' 2008 numbers sufficed to win the...
