Although the game had some up and down moments, I was shocked to see the Jets handle the Titans so well. This got me to thinking … exactly what kind of a team is this that the Jets have here? A young QB, who although has hit some bumps (fumble issues) is still on a 2:1 TD to INT ratio so far. A receiving corps that plays very well after the catch and seems to be working well with their QB A dynamic Tight End that can act as an additional receiver with decent effect A commitment to the running game (although it’s not looked dominant so far) A dynamic running back who can play in multiple parts of this offense One of the league’s very best special teams units A top defensive line that can two gap and penetrate equally effectively, and is versatile to switch in and out of 3-4 A unit still playing without Calvin Pace, the team’s best pass rusher in 2008 One of the top three CBs in the league in Darrelle Revis A unit that can grind on defense or play spread em ou...
