Darrelle Revis made an interesting comment Wednesday when he was asked to characterize the Jets' rivalries against the Dolphins and Patriots. The Patriots rivalry is fierce, he said, but there's very little trash talk on the field or before the game, just two bitter rivals trying to beat the stuffing out of each other.
As for the Dolphins, Revis said it's all about the trash talk -- before, during and after. And we've definitely seen that this week. Actually, it started in the offseason, with Rex Ryan and Channing Crowder going back and forth. It continued three weeks ago, when Calvin Pace called the Wildcat a bunch of "nonsense" -- that, after a loss.
This week, Rex Ryan talked tough on Wednesday, basically saying the Jets will out-tough the Dolphins. Then he made an unfortunate comment on a conference call with the South Florida media, which triggered a response from Joey Porter.
