Cedric Benson was finally cut by the Chicago Bears yesterday. The University of Texas bust was busted for a DUI over the weekend. That might not be the worst of it. On the Dan Patrick Show this morning, FoxSports Jay Glazer stated that the Chicago Bears defense tried to intentionally take him out.

The Bears cut Cedric Benson today after his second drunk driving charge, according to ESPN. Why did Cedric get the axe when so many players before him have committed the same transgressions, including other Bears like Lance Briggs? Running backs are expendable, especially with Forte waiting in the wings.

I actually was beginning to feel sorry for Cedric Benson given the way he responded to the arrest for drunken boating not long ago. I would say that is probably why he failed as an NFL player!!! It looks like he had too many x-tra curricular activities going on. You live you learn. I might read it, but this sounds like a broken, played out record already.

Last season it seemed the Buffalo Bills just could not make up their minds. Was it going to be incumbent J.P. Losman or rookie Trent Edwards at quarterback? Were they going to use Lee Evans as a deep threat or a possession receiver? Should Marshawn Lynch get all the carries or should he share with Fred Jackson and Anthony Thomas? And between all the indecision, the Bills managed...

The Bears offense is going to be horrible and consequentially, no fun to play with in this year's Madden. But who knew Adrian Peterson (94) was such a fantastic third-down back?
The defense looks solid. Despite injury-riddled seasons, the makers of Madden still like Mike Brown and Nathan Vasher.

As if it wasnt enough for your vehicle to be mentioned in a hit and run, as if there being questions about who was actually driving the vehicle at the time wasnt enough.....Now it seems that the rippling effects continue.
Even though it appears that he may "only" be charged with a misdemeanor, he still may be facing the potentially missing 2 Bills games that are scheduled...

Will Devin Hester suffer in the return game now that the Bears are trying to transform him into the #1 receiving option in Chicago? In my opinion, it's a disaster. Having Devin on the field every single play is like driving your Ferrari to Wal-Mart to pick up groceries.

The Chicago Bears were quite the disappointment in the 2007 season as almost no one lived up to expectations. Unless you played in a canyon-deep league, the Bears were a fantasy football wasteland for the most part.
