He was a mistake by the Bruce Allen-Jon Gruden administration. It was no secret that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seemingly made a huge draft mistake in April of 2008 when they selected Dexter Jackson from Appalachian State in the second round with the 58th overall pick. Jackson was a complete and total bust and the Buccanners admitted it Monday when they released him to get to the NFL-mandated 75 players roster limit.
