The Bucs announced today they have sent DE Marques Douglas to the Ravens for a late round draft pick in 2009 and a conditional draft pick in 2010.? Douglas was seemingly penciled in to have a big role after signing with us as a free agent in the offseason, but the emergence of Jimmy Wilkerson was going

  • I think this Trade of Marques Douglas to the Baltimore Ravens just opens up the door to see more of the Rookie DT Chris Bradwel on the Buccaneers D-LINEl . Who has shown a lot of flash and quickness throughout the Preseason. Monte Kiffin and Jon Gruden may have to rearrange the depth chart and move this Guy up. I still think they have a great defensive line and will bring a lot of pressure on NFL Offensive Lines this 2008-2009 NFL SEASON. So I'm looking forward to a seeing a very exciting season from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Go Bucs!!

Baltimore Still The Band Of Thugs???

What do you think in regards to the state of the Ravens? Many say they have no direction or confidence in their offense; and they are the most undisciplined team on the field in the NFL. If ths is the case, thugs or no thugs, can the Baltimore Defense rejuvenate itself this year? More importantly, can the offense actual figure out how to move the ball down the field and score a point?

Taking a Look at the Breakdown of the Ravens Roster

The Ravens cut down to the 75-man limit is relatively painless since only five players are dismissed from the 80-man active roster.? It is the next roster cut by this Saturday that involves twenty-two players that is very painful. The following is one man's opinion on the final makeup of the 53-man squad: QUARTERBACKS (3) John Beck, Joe Flacco, Troy Smith (with Kyle Boller...

Ravens Cuts and Bruises

The Baltimore Ravens made their first round of cuts today, dismissing local product and R&B star Darnerien McCants and tight end Aaron Walker. McCants, who had been out of the league for two seasons prior to camp, caught one pass for 30 yards in the first game of the preseason. Both McCants and Walker

What Are the Odds on Ray Lewis Being Arrested?

Apparently, pretty good according to a new BetUS.com listing of NFL players most likely to run afoul of the law. Ray Lewis is pretty low under names like Chris Henry, Pacman Jones and Tank Johnson. This is pretty weird, because save for that one nasty incident, Lewis hasn't been in trouble. Of any kind.

Flacco Could be Last Man Standing in QB Battle

Ever since the Ravens said that they would have an open competition for the quarterback spot everyone had an opinion. I think even I flip-flopped at least twice. Kyle Boller has the most NFL experience, he may not be the future but he gives the team the best chance to win now. Troy Smith is called by some a natural leader and can make plays with his legs. He could really help out...

Flacco Puts Himself Back in the Picture?

And the plot thickens?. With Troy Smith coming down with a nasty case of tonsillitis (to go along with his previously diagnosed condition of "Isuckatfootballitis") and Kyle Boller feeling the effects of being body slammed in the 2nd preseason game, all of B'More got a shock when we heard that Joe Flacco would get the start the other night in St. Louis. Now I...
