COLTS 5-0: Who the Hell Cares?

For what seems like the past decade, Peyton Manning and the Colts have been the highflying media darlings and carried that pressure until they finally shook the 'big game' monkey off their backs last season with a convincing Super Bowl win over the Chicago Bears. You can't imagine what it's like...

Don't worry, Colts will get their media time during weeks 9 and 10 when they play the Patriots and the Chargers. Colts had a fair amount of exposure prior to their week 1 game against the Saints, but since then they've played some mediocre teams (Tennessee/Houston/Denver/Tampa Bay)... and this week they have a Bye.

I don't think they want the exposure. They like not being the media darling team this year. And as far as who they have played, you can say the same thing about Dalla and New England too. Thanks for the comment!

I think the Colts are just not sensationalized because they are perfect right now..Stats are stats sure, but do they matter as much as a win? or a Touch down? It doesn't matter how they get done, they just do. There is no sexiness in being so perfect..you should have at LEAST one or two flaws. They don't have any. You hear it every time they play somewhere..Peyton Manning - perfect..yep no argument there! I hope Peyton gets sacked 15 times in November- that'll learn him.

Well, in all fairness, the Colts are not the only team to get media attention......Have we forgotten about the Pats and Cowboys? Tony Romo was a media gem last year.....this year will be no different. I think that Peyton is ACTUALLY THAT GOOD. How else can one explain his success? And in saying that the Colts don't deserve the spotlight.....keep in mind they are the defending champions, and are undefeated still as of now. All the teams are "good"....they are pros for Christ's sake!!!! I think one should be more concerned with all of the off the field nonsense concerning certain players.....I will say no names, as everyone know who they are.....no need in adding "fuel to the fire"
