i just read an article that said the cardinals will deal with the 13 million owed this season but 17 million next season is to much, they are trying to reconstruct a 4 year contract with @ leaste 20 million in guarenteed money, if they are unable to reach an agreement, he will be cut or traded, most likely traded

I think his injury was a very underrated part of the Pats inability to dominate defensively in the second half of the year, and now the Globe is reporting Rosevelt Colvin is getting dropped due to a $7.6 million cap charge (which I admit, is high).
We're going to miss him off the edge, when Vrabel and him were both going in the early part of the season the Pats were unstoppable...

Looks like Asante Samuel is headed to the Saints for 10 mil a year. If this is true i guess he cares more about money than winning......I for one am pissed as they might lose Lito. I guess the only upside to this is that this gives them more to spend on those offensive playmakers.
