    Unless law enforcement was scared the situation might spill out into the streets like the shootout in Heat, it strikes me as a little unnecessary that 70 people had to be evacuated.

    So you would be willing to stay in your house and maybe catch a stray bullet in the event a shootout? Additionally, if I were a police officer not know what type of weapons were in the house, I would want the advantage of overwhelming firepower. But stay in the house
