Raiders WR Found Unconscious in Vegas
Raiders WR Javon Walker was found unconscious in the streets of Las Vegas Monday morning. Reported injuries are a fractured orbital bone.
Most of us questioned the signing of Walker by the Raiders this offseason to the kind of contract he got. But of course I don't think anyone saw him as the type to get himself into this kind of situation. He hasn't been a player with...
Rumors abound: Floyd Mayweather a suspect?
When a big story hits, rumors begin to flow. Here at TFDS, we are normally picking through the rumors of the mainstream press in order to find corroboration to Oakland Raiders story. While doing this, I stumbled upon a site that I'm not familiar with, spouting a rumor that is almost too good to pass up...
Detailing Oakland Raiders' receiver Javon Walker's injuries
The reports on the extent of Javon Walker's injuries have been sketchy at best. He was found unconscious according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Jason Jones reports that he has an orbital fracture. Since he was unconscious, it is likely there is a concussion involved, especially coupled with an orbital fracture, which is a broken eye socket. Neither of these bode...

If you've not heard yet, Javon Walker was robbed and left unconscious on a Las Vegas street early Monday morning. Reports are that Walker is currently in fair condition in Las Vegas with an orbital fracture (broke the bone around his eye). Javon Walker is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp.
Hopefull he will learn his lesson and travel with a little more caution (ahem - armed guard) next time.

Now that he's going to be ok, lets get down to business!

Oakland Raiders: Walker's injuries shouldn't be an issue
As the Javon Walker story unfolds, more twists and turns seem to continue to turn up. A once thought possible career threatening injury is said to be a non-issue for Walker's return to the Raiders. Walker is planning on being on a plane to Oakland this evening where the Oakland Raiders team doctors are expected to give him a significant checkup.
Javon Walker Welcomed To Raiders & Robbed
After partying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas (Mistake #1), and spraying out bottle after bottle of champagne (Mistake #2) he was found unconscious just off the strip in Las Vegas (Mistake #3).
Also a victim of robbery? Oakland Raiders.
Maybe they can feel sympathetic though and help Javon out with a new watch, because I'm taking a stab in the wind and saying that watch...
Unveiling one of the new features here at Thoughts from the Dark Side
Ladies and Gentleman, its my great pleasure to announce one of the new features here at Thoughts from the Dark Side. Rob and I have been kicking around this idea for quite a while, and finally found the means to accomplish this. We have added an Oakland Raiders News page to help find Raider news from multiple sources from around the web.
Maybe Javon Walker Should Leave The Clubs Alone For A While
The vague similarities between Javon's latest incident and his 2006 incident with Darrent Williams are too much to ignore. I think from this point forward, Javon should never be caught spraying champagne again in his life.... and stay out of the clubs dammit.
Oakland Raiders: Football cliches that MUST go away
After our extensive Javon Walker coverage, it seems like time to lighten things up just a bit. If there are any further updates, we will have them for you. Meanwhile, its time to look at those cliches that just grate on the nerves. They are used all over the sports world, and I am sure that even my favorite writers, Rob and myself use them on occasion, but they really need to go away.
2008 Oakland Raiders Camp Battles: Running Backs-Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden, Michael Bush to become Ghidorah
Ghidorah is a three headed monster who wrecked havoc all over Tokyo in the 1964 flick Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster. In the vein of Voltron, Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden, and Michael Bush look to come together and form Ghidorah and wreck havoc throughout NFL defenses. These three determined rushers are not the only running backs in camp chomping at the bit to be on the Oakland...
