Found August 13, 2008 on Chargers Gab:
The Chargers are hoping kicker Nate Kaeding will continue his impressive work on the field.  Kaeding booted a 53-yard field goal against the Cowboys on Saturday. The fifth-year kicker went 4 for 4 in the AFC Championship Game last year after a leg injury.  Each of his five kickoffs on Saturday were fielded inside the five yard line by Dallas.

Can McNabb Lead Eagles to the SuperBowl???

McNabb was quoted as saying T.O. made a mistake in going to the cowboys and certainly this year he can take the Eagles to the SuperBowl. Is he on Crack? That guy can't walk down the sidewalk without getting hurt, and losing T.O. shouldn't hold the Eagles back. He is trying to save his job and make something of a what I consider a lack luster career. If I am the Eagles...

6-Pac Challenge

I was watching an episode of "Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The Dallas Cowboys" when I saw a remarkable thing. Adam Jones, the Cowboys cornerback and punt returner was catching punts during practice, but after he caught the punts he did not drop the footballs. At one point he had five footballs in his hands before he was able to haul in the 6th ball. Catching and holding...

Underwood admits Romo still calls

Of course, we have transcripts of the phone calls.

Kevin Burnett, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker who also has a blog, will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. This is a procedure that usually keeps a player out for a month. Burnett has always had knee problems, and this is his fifth surgery for several injuries. Despite this, he has only missed

RICHMOND, VA — A recent revelation shows that Patrick Henry, Virginia statesman and revolutionary hero, actually said more in his most famous quote than he is generally given credit for. The discovery was made following a close examination of George Washington’s diary entry from April 4, 1775. The entry reads: “A most astounding call to action came a [...]

Epic Drop: NFC East Preview, Dallas Cowboys

Why write about a team I hate? Becuase no one else wanted the job, and I think they're going to end the year with unhappiness. So why wouldn't I want to write about them?Anyway, go click, enjoy, and remember all the good soul-crushing playoff defeats the Cowboys have endured this millenium. It'll make you feel warm all over.http://fivetooltool.blogspot.com - The Sports Blog That Loves You Back!

Your Hard Knocks Episode Two In Three Minutes

I'm still of the mind set that Hard Knocks is pretty much always entertaining, but this season hasn't been the greatest. It definitely pales in comparison to previous years, but it still has its moments. I've pulled out everything "relevant" from the second that's noteworthy and our grand total is a three minutes. That's pretty bad for an hour show...

Adam Jones To Send Letter Asking For Re-instatement

Dallas Cowboys CB Adam Jones said he wrote a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last night asking for full reinstatement to the league. Jones said he plans on mailing the letter to New York on Thursday. The NFL has told Jones he will receive a ruling on his status prior to the start of the season. "I just sent in my letter to the commissioner and I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Ravens Sign Veteran Fullback Lorenzo Neal

The Ravens continue to tweak their roster, and today they added veteran fullback Lorenzo Neal.? The 37-year-old knows all about 1000-yard rushers, as he's been the lead blocker for a 1000 yard rusher for 11 straight seasons.? This is his seventh teams and the second time around with Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, who was the OC in San Diego when Neal played there....

Pacman Jones Tries to Rip Brandon Marshall, Fails Dramatically

It didn't take long for the practices between the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos to get ugly. Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones drew first blood, when asked to compare Broncos WR Brandon Marshall with oft-compared Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens: "He's nowhere near T.O. He's a good athlete, but he ain't on T.O.'s level. T.O. is 10 times faster and 10 times bigger. I...

Antonio Gates Begins Running Routes, Still In Pain

Good news and bad news for TE Antonio Gates. The all-pro tight end ran routes, taking off and stopping to catch passes Monday morning. But Gates admits he's still experiencing a lot of discomfort in his left big toe and he is getting more and more frustrated. "It looks better than it feels," Gates said. "It's not as comfortable as it looks.
