  • I once thought the correlation of age to running back performance was overblown until I looked at the stats. There have been only 259 times where NFL running backs have run for 1,200 or more yards in a season (avg of 75 yds/game). Of those 259 only 22 were age 30 or older. 19 of those were either 30 or 31. Walter Payton did it at 32 and John Riggins did it at 33 and 35. Regardless of what the Chargers do with LT, they need to draft a good RB this year!!!
  • come on Lt you have to stay with the chargers thats you team with out you they wont be as good you are a star player on there team i mean it sucked that you couldnt play agianst the steelers but if you leave they will only have a couple saying one ,two or three good players i am not saying they are a bad team in fact chargers are my favorite team you cant leave your the best running back there is out there i think right now you are the best running back in the nfl right now but you guys arnt going to the super boul now wich sucks but you guys will always be my favorite team just please stay with the chargers

Chargers-Steelers Live Blogging: Second Quarter

Rivers to Gates gets them close to the sticks, but the Chargers can't convert a third down with Sproles, and Norv goes for the challenge prior to his punt. This move didn't work for Coughlin in the early game either, Norv! The challenge is crushed, Simms likes the move because it's stupid, and ...

Zero Hour, Bolts Steelers Preview.

Work and the flu have dominated me this week. Last year I live blogged during the Steelers opening round loss to the Jags, apparently it was bad luck, no live blog this year. Home Sweet Home

As the 3 road teams prior to the Steelers game dismantled the home teams, I was even more confident the Chargers were no threat to win in Pittsburgh. And then the Steelers proceeded to kick them off their ankles like a chihuahua was nipping at them. But this win was encouraging for other reasons. Admittedly the [...]
