The Viking Age:
Sean Jensen of the Pioneer-Press just tweeted (did I mention I’m also on Twitter?) that the Vikings have cut cornerback Charles Gordon. We of course recall Gordon’s one memorable 2008 moment - that awful-looking broken ankle he suffered while returning a punt against the Packers. Gordon missed the rest of the season after that, but was primed for a comeback attempt with the Vikes this training camp. Sadly, that will not happen now. Evidently, the Vikes are happy with Benny Sapp and Marcus McCauley as the two main guys competing for the nickelback position, unless another move is forthcoming.
