MVN:
This is how Coach Ryan has started the camp. With Kellen Clemens being named as the number one heading into camp this year. Ryan is a coach who really gets it and understands the game, team, fans and media. We finally have a coach who is not brain dead in one or more of those areas. I like this move a lot, as it is the only move that makes sense.
While we all know that Sanchez is the QB of the franchise, it would have been a disrespect and could likely have caused negative ripples amongst the veterans who have been with Clemens. This was the only move the coach could make in order to establish an identity and also keep the peace within the locker room. Name Clemens the number one to start and it's his job to lose if Sanchez out plays him.
The two men seem to have great respect and even admiration for each other and I know that this will be an intense competition between the two down to the wire. There has been debate over who has the stronger arm, who has more QB smarts, who is more of a gamer, who has the most playing time (recently), who can handle the speed of the NFL game better and who can handle the pressure from opposing teams.
The only thing there is no debate over is who looks funnier in white belly pants...
That is clearly Dirty Sanchez!
