  IN THEORY, the eagles can get swept- because ANYTHING is possible. But the rationale behind the sweep was idiotic. "The rivalry hit new heights towards the end of the season?" What does that mean exactly, because from my memory i remember it not even being close and absolute domination. The cowboys havent exactly gotten better over the offseason.

  I think he hit the wrong buttons cause no way the Birds loose any games to the cowboys the first game last year was close one stop n the birds win plus now they cant put up that many points cause Terrible Owens is gone plus their d is awful no Roy i should be a linebacker Williams, Anthony Henry is gone, Canty is up in NY, Ware wont have 20 sacks this year look at how the birds took him out of the game in Philly came in with 20 sacks left with 20 sacks Greg Ellis is old n getting worse their CBs have done nothing Terrence Newman isnt a bad player but nothing to brag about n Mike Jenkins hasnt done anything (even if he is a good prospect) Our D will desroy their Offense Roy Williams will be killed by Samuels Sheldon on who Witten? cmon Sheldons got that Barber will be stopped no problem Jones Mikel or any linebacker EAGLES WILL SWEEP THE COWBOYS

        If Kolb is our QB we are doomed. BUT, if the EAGLES do make some half decent drafts and FA pick-ups, the only reason I see us not sweeping would be because the crygirls will be out for revenge the first time we play them this year. The good side of that is I believe, though I have not yet seen the schedule, the EAGLES are at home for the first crygirls game.

You won the first one by a thread and if you would have been called for half the face-masking calls the game would have turned out differently.   Yeah well predictions are wishful thinking nothing more. Last year teams both Cowboys and Eagles are not the same. Players and coaches have come and gone so no one has a crystal ball and knows what will happen. To be perfectly honest with you the Eagles are not on the radar as far as teams The Cowboys are gearing up for. I do believe the Redskins and the Giants are more of a priority than the Eagles. When we settle the scores having to do with Redskins and the Giants in that order then we'll deal with you Eagle fans. Get in line your turn will come.

    i forget who was in the playoffs? Giants n who? o thats right the Eagles! How did we get in? o yeah we beat the Cowboys 44-6 what happened earlier in the year you beat us but u gave up 30 plus points each time we played last year we made the playoffs went to Minn. beat the Vikings came back beat the giants at the meadowlands then went to Arizona n got caught on a trick play that cost us the trip to the Super Bowl we beat Arizona n Pitts in the regular seaon we didnt just beat them we destroyed them the Steeler game wasnt as close as the score says either was the last giants game in the regular season we put our crap togehter the Cowboys r still falling apart

      From week 10 to week 12 your team was in a tailspin downward. Benching McNabb for the loss to Cincy, and the blow out to the Ravens amid the calls to throw McNabb and Reid under the bus from Philly sports talk radio oh yeah we heard it too. Some how Eagles turn it around and made the playoffs. The game with Steelers was 15-6 dog I dont exactly call that being destroyed. True that Eagles took advantage of the situation and pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Like I said at the time no excuses given just a good old fashion butt whupping on The Dallas Cowboys and made it to the NFC Championship. Losing to the Cardinals with the help of the best WR in the league dispite Cardinals Defense trying to ****** defeat out of the jaws of victory. The moral to the story is what is the past is the past we live to fight again. The falling apart thing, NO.... Mr. 20dawk4life

        Ok Mr. Robbo like i said the score of the Steelers game doesnt show how bad we made the Steelers play 9 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a pick. n buddy boy since ur into looking up scores of games look up the Cincy game its 13-13 a tie not a lose. n the Ravens game was 10-7 at halftime when fatboy Reid put in Kolb (i know HE sucks) as for people calling for the end of DMAC they r dumb as hell then we might get stuck with a no talent QB like Romo face it he is the luckiest QB in the league with the BS he pulls after all of his fumbles n i dont know how much u watch Roy Williams in Detroit but he drops passes more than TO n whats with the pick trying to tell me that ur players use roids?

  Fact is you can throw the stats out of the window. If the NFC East is anything that would be cosistantly predictable towards each divisional game. It will hard to match the emotional intensity in the non divisional games that follows. We will go on to fight another day.   Point the eagles arent that great of a team, yes they went further in the playoffs, but it was a dumb luck..this year the cowboys will go further, they have a strong offinsive line and our defense rocks. with TO gone we might struggle at first but i think not..besides Mcnabb is getting OLD or QB is young and ready for the superbowl!!

  I wont to say the Eagle have and is still going through a lot with the coaching staff. Coach Andy Reid with the issues with his son and coach Jimmy Johnson with medical issues. I also want to say I am not an Eagles fan but I do respect the body of work the current Eagles coaches have accomplished. Keeping everything in perspective the Eagles oeganization have proven talent in the front office for the most part with huge cap room so I will predict that Andy, Joe, and Jeff will come up with something to help out the Eagles.

Now lets switch Our dline vs ur Oline ill go our Dline Trent Cole nasty Our DTs comand a double team on atleast one of them then Darren Howard lead our team in Sacks as a backup n Clemons came on nice at the end of the year Our Linebackers can cover Witten n ur RBs n Our DBs will kill ur Receivers face it Roy Williams isnt that good single coverage with Asante he is done n the rest of ur receivers r worse than ours Austin n Clayton r like Baskett n well Pinkston n ur QB Romo cant manage a game he gets lucky as hell with his fumble recoveries he is gonna get hurt one time n its gonna be bad (not tring to hate but i see him getting seriously hurt) as for Special Teams Dallas has the edge at basically everything Punter and Kicker (but if we bring back Koy Detmer to hold the ball for David Akers we will get the kicker spot back) at Kick Return i like Demps but Felix Jones killed it untill he got hurt n at punt return i dont know who u have but Desean Jackson was great last year

        Yeah sorry about the slow response but I been in and out looking at the NCAA Tourney, and now the Mavericks against the Hawks. Your team to team analysis is ok in my opinion, but the real difference is the coaching staffs. The Eagles core staff has been together a good while now. To the Cowboys staff who continually has a revolving door, and who is picked by Owner Jerry. Its all good though still we will see what is to come next season as you say focusing on the present, or future in this case.

        so ur saying that the difference in the teams is the coaching staff n ours has been together for most of Reids stay here but we lost our OC Brad Childress to the Viks n our Special Teams Coach to the Ravens both getting head coaching jobs n if ur saying a revolving door as a coaching staff is better than keeping the same DC n HC than i would have to disagree true that alot of teams have figured out Reids play calling but with a change in coaches means knew terms n just look at Alex Smith in San Fran he hasnt had the same OC for 2 years n he has become terrible

I am not talking about Wade, and Jason, I am talking about Dave Campo, and Hudson Houck. I know for a fact that Wade did not bring them here, and oh yeah in case you didnt know that’s the o-line, and d-backfield coaches.
        
        Now this is on top of a former coach who Owner Jerry brought in here to wreck the 07 team ripping the only semblance of longevity out. Now you have the 08 team completely different just like the 09 team ripped up again, and here you Eagles fans thinking its something you did. As long as Jerry refuse getting help you NFC rivals will always have a good chance to knock off the Cowboys we here in Dallas been knowing this.
        
        Thus we hear these oddball opinions about girls, homos, no talent, and the list goes on when the fact is the only constant over those 14 years ( which by the way is when Dawk got drafted ) is Jerry (Stupid A$$) Jones. These are facts Mr. 20dawk4life.

        The Eagles r the only team in the NFC East that has had the same head coach since the turn of the century Washington had Gibbs n now Horn n someone before Gibbs i just dont know who. The giants had Jim Fassel n now Tom Coughlin. The only thing i can agree with is Jerry Jones is dumb as rocks. Spags went to the giants after being our Linebacker coach n now is in St. Louis as the head coach the difference between the Birds and Cowboys is we keep the important people in place n let the others go dominate the rest of the league Spags built one of the best Dfences, Harbough is in Baltimore n got to the AFC Championship (yes Rex Ryan helped alot but we will have to wait n see what they do this year), Brad Childress is with the Viks still looking for a QB so they can win he divsion every year with ease. N ur facts still suck ur DBs coach n o line coach are not the ones calling the plays even if they agree with Jones it still takes Wade to say yes n yeah Wade is a yes man thats why he wasnt fired after the lose to the Birds this year. n Jason Garret does a good job calling plays but u still need the players to exacute n thats where the Birds make their impact its not the coaches playing the games its the players n will trade Marty our OC for Garret any day Garret wont throw on 2nd n 1 like the retards we got in Philly

        Yeah, all those coaches at one time or another coached under Andy, but you left out the fact they just like the Eagles haven’t won anything, and I know you have selective memory but before the tuna came and wrecked the team 13-3 aint bad. That’s right Miami went to the playoffs no win but they went. If I am not mistaken Brian Stewart was the secondary coach in Philly.

NT Jason Ferguson for a 6th rounder; ILB Akin Ayodele, and Anthony Fasano for a and I mean a single 4th round pick(100th). That’s starting core players for the 07 team. Now Jeff Ireland, Brian Gaine (front office), Tony Sporano, Todd Bowles, Paul Pasqualoni, Kacy Rodgers, ( assistant coaches) all for free “nothing”.

        The NCAA Tourney games are pretty much over now back to you Eagles fans. Lets just say I respectfully disagree with that opinion. We will see about all that later but as for now we will have to agree to disagree. As far as the reference to T.O. I did see Brian Dawkins at his press conference, and I saw Plaxico Burris interview right after the SB win also but I guess that don’t count. I do understand the game is emotional but don’t be so bias when people who you respect show they are humans and you demonize unfairly the Cowboys when the same happen.         First of all TO isnt a tough guy he is a pretty boy who only cares that he is getting attention he knew that people would try to blame Romo for the lose n that means all the attention would be on Romo but with him crying it puts the attention back on him.The interview Dawk did when he got introduced as a Bronco isnt the only time he cried about leaving he spent his entire career in Philly n feels a connection to the people not just the fans but all the people he has helped through community service.
