Vernon Carey is not worried about his contract. Which expires after this season. The Miami Dolphins apparently are not worried either. According to his agent, the Dolphins have made no contact with them for a contract extension. Looks like it will have to wait.

The right outside linebacker spot is important in the 3-4 defense. It become even more important when Jason Taylor is traded and you now have to fill that spot.

The Fins have come to terms with second-round pick QB Chad Henne on a deal that will pay him $3.5 mil with $1.5 mil guaranteed for four years. He is expected to come in and compete with the other QB's on the roster, but many think that he is the teams QB of the future. This weekend Miami had their first three training camp practices, starting with morning and evening sessions on Saturday, and wrapping up with an afternoon session today. I did not go to any of the practices but have been a total junkie, reading recaps from any writer who did attend, and watching all of the interviews and highlights on the Dolphins' official website.
