Former NFL head coach Denny Green went on Sirius radio earlier this week and said that he has a hard time believing that suspended quarterback Michael Vick won’t wind up with Bill Parcells in Miami. “I have a hard time believing that Michael Vick is not going to wind up with Bill Parcells, simply because [Parcells] [...]

Parcells is not into bringing in troublemakers. He was totally against bringing in T.O. to Dallas. I just don't see this happening.
  • MsStizzle
Nah, I don't see Vick going to Miami either! I really don't know if he'll be picked up this season, but you never know.

Not going to happen. There is no reason for it.

I find it peculiar that Green, should be making such a statement. Sounds like there might`ve been bad blood between `em at one time.
  • I think any team in the nfl should be happy to get michael vick, so give him a chance,i cant wait to see him back playing football.
  • I think he should go to the Patriots Bill could keep him on the right track. Its not like vick was a trouble maker when he was in the league he was just in the dog game his bad. Did his time and I think him in New England would revolutionize the way football is played

Yeah, like he`d really get a chance to upstage Brady!?! If he does find a job in the NFL, it ain`t gonna be a starting spot and he`ll only see playing time if the games outta reach, one way or the other.

KC. I respectfully disagree. Bill gave up on his team by not flying back to New England with the team after the Super Bowl loss to Green Bay. Then he made a stir about being able to "make his own shopping list if your going to grocery shop". Good riddance Tuna. Enjoy being dominated by your jedi master, Mr. Belichick. And why the hell would the Patriots want Tuna back when they already have the greatest coach of all time?

I think San Fran gets him Bill might be happy with his team the way it is
  • qbbanks
Man whoever gets him is going to have an edge on every team in the league. There is no player even remotely close to Vick when it comes to athleticism and talent. I don't want to hear, "well he has been away from football for 2 seasons" Its not like he is recovering from an ACL or some other injury. The dude just basically got a chance to heal up and rejuvenate. Some say he won't be in good shape...has anyone seen someone who was just released from prison?? They go home in better shape than they come.
  • mitressehc
    Placard_complete_small
Bullsh1t. The only edge they will have is knowing where the closest dog fighting circuit is, because Vick will certainly know that. Other than that who wants a wide receiver who doesn't catch the ball and certainly is not accurate enough to throw it to anybody. He does not even crack the top twenty of currently playing QB's. His game will only translate well if the team he goes to runs the Wildcat every time they throw the ball, and that just ain't gonna happen. Parcells will not pick this BUM up. Period.

Probably one of the frontrunners for the dijected and criminaly challenged players. Oakland, Dallas, San Fran. A team that really has nothing to lose by signing him and the media circus that will follow wherever he goes. Yeah...any team will be lucky to have him, what a joke.

      Hey mitressehc,
Your team is full of ex Cowboys now you mouthing off about criminally challeged. So what that makes the Dolphins? Thanks to Jerry Jones you'd be still in the bottom of the division.

      Placard_complete_small
Yo,Robbo, I am just going off of past signings that's all. You are right though, if it wasn't for Jerry getting rid of the players that weren't criminals our record would have been as bad as you guy's were last year. Until the pattern of signing players with legal trouble ends, I am going to say Dallas could very well be a landing spot for him.

      Mitressehc,
A lot of good that did you. You made it to the play off with our castoffs after that 1-15 season now I guess you think you're going to win the SB right. Don't be surprised that things may not turn out like you think, there lil fella.

I tell you what though I'll take Mike over Chad any day of the week. While you look over the police blotter we'll be showing you how to play football. One season removed from 1-15 don't inspire a lot of credit from you. I wonder how old Chad feels about? Hhhmmmmmm, we'll see. Just remember you're going to find out what we already know, and if it can happen to us, it can happen to you.
    • mitressehc
      Placard_complete_small
First thing, the whole team does not consist of cast off from the Cowboys. Yeah I would love for us to win the SB, but even if I did think we would you wouldn't hear me spouting off on here about it, not my style, but we have as good a chance as Dallas that's for sure. Now I am sorry if my opinion struck a nerve, but Dallas has a past of signing troubled players and all I said is that may be a choice for him, and there has been a bad media cloud hanging over Dallas for a minute due to the type of players Jerry Jones has employed. Also, I'm sure Chad feels pretty good about the progress he made last year and plans to build on it so don't go putting words in Chad's or my mouth there lil fella, and it has all ready happened to us and we are taking precautions that it doesn't happen again. I didn't even get personnal, or say anything too derogatory about the Cowboys, it is kind of a known fact he hires players with less than scrupulous morales. Gees Robbo, get ya panties out of a bunch.

      Mitressehc,
I don't have a problem with your comments as you may think. The topic is dealing with what Denny Green said about Micheal Vick going to the Dolphins. You said some things about the criminally challeged and I recognized you were trying to deflect the attention off of the Dolphins.

I didn't get personal with you either I said "lil fella" but I say that to a lot of people. If that is personal to you then I definitely apologize. I know it's crass but excuse me just adding flavor to the comment.

Now, speaking of personal I don't wear panties just to set the record straight, and I definitely wasn't putting words in either of your perspective mouths. Just giving a friendly warning about your boy Tuna. At the same time refuting this image of poor choices of Jerry Jones.

He lets the coaches, and players go to your team for virtually nothing and signs the reject bunch and pays them to leave. Here you are your team coming off of a 1-15 season talking about criminally challeged. Hey dude I got to tell ya. Just don't set too well with you playing high and mighty. Then going bad on Micheal Vick the way you are. I had to say something to see where your attitude's at. That's all....
    • mitressehc
      Placard_complete_small
You act like just because my team went 1-15 we don't have a say as a fan on who I want to be on my team and who I don't. That's just crazy talk. I am sure not acting high and mighty, but good Lord a fan of some 1 year removed 1-15 team is acting like he is proud of his team, which I am. Besides that debacle of a season we actually are a proud franchise who in our day was used to winning, lil fella. And Robbo, this is a sports blog where we are allowed to unvarnish our opinions, and I am not high on Mike Vick and when people lioke Green who really doesn't seem to know what he is talking about just throws out there that Vick will end up with Parcells, well lets just say I call bullsh!t when I smell it. So next time you feel you need to check me on my opinionthe way you were trying to do...don't, just relax..sit back and read the statements for what they are, just a man with an opinion. OH...and I will laugh my a$$ off if he ends up in Dallas, it will just prove my point.

      Mitressehc,
You're right that's your opinion. The only part about it is when you brought the Cowboys into the mess of somebody else giving their opinion on your team. Is all I'm saying. So, you might want to take up the issue with Denny Green.

Just to set you straight I could give a flying damn about checking you, or your comments. What I do care about is keeping the main thing, the main thing. It ain't about you, it's about the issue at hand. So, don't try to personalize my comments. I'm letting you know I'm speaking on the topic not you.

Of course we can't help but to touch on some persanal aspects. Like you standing up for your team. But if you come at me on a personal level cause you a sick f*ck like other so-called sports bloggers, then that's you and you deserve what you got coming to you.

      Placard_complete_small
You actually made it personnal, when I was going off of past experiences by your team and a couple of others, i didn't actually insult the Cowboys just some of the moves they have made player wise and the media that has followed. You have been pretty rude through your comments and this will be my last response to someone who seems to be arguing just for the sake of arguing. You have been insulting me since we have been going back and forth sbout this and there seems to be no common ground to be reached. Now I don't know where in my comments you have derived that I am a "sick f#ck" and "that's me and I get what I deserved" when I was just stating a possibility on past signings by your team. Wasn't just pulling the Cowboys out of thin air, they do hire players with low moral fiber, not all your players but there have been a few bad apples. And you were trying to check me you said and I quote "Hey dude I got to tell ya. Just don't set too well with you playing high and mighty. Then going bad on Micheal Vick the way you are. I had to say something to see where your attitude's at. That's all...." That sounds like someone trying to check someone else on there comments, so yeah, you obviosly do give a damn about checking my comments. I guess you can keep telling me I am getting personnal when I haven't, except telling you to get your panties out of a bunch, but other than that it has been all you Robbo my dude who is trying to get me to respond in anger, obviously you have the problem because you went and canceled yourself as my fan, now who is getting personnal.

      Robbo,

Mistresse is right. Eevrybody acts like us Dol-Phans can't speak their opinion. Why don't they just make this an official ***** NFC East blog, cause just about everyone on here that is a Beagles, or Cowboys fans acts like they are tough sh*t. Well, guess what, we have a freedom of speech, and if we cannot speak our opinions without getting called a sick f*ck, then there is no point in even having Yardbarker.

Second, those "castoffs" that Jerry so kindly gave us were not castoffs if they helped the Dolphins get to the playoffs, something the Cowboys failed to do with a roster that was stacked with criminals, to jerkoffs, to idiots, and even to big mouths, and so called "celebrities. I'll tell you one thing, the NFL is not all about having the best roster to win, if that was the case, then the Chargers would win the SB the last couple of years. It's about being a team, and that is something the Crygirls know nothing about. As long as Jerry is the gm, the Boys will not win another SB. Jerry just wants the publicity.

      See Catman3415,

You're expressing your opinion I'm not stopping you from that. This post is what Denny Green predicted where M. Vick was going. OK, but this poor image of the Cowboys because of what Jerry did I will detract that every time.

Jerry owns the team he makes his moves. The players don't deserve to be lambasted the way you and your fellow fanmate is doing and that goes for M.V. as well. No one is not vilifying the Dolphins I like the Dolphins I hope they figure it out in the AFC East. You never hear about the good things T.O., Marion Barber, Jason Witten, Sam Hurd, Terence Newman, are doing for the community. The kids love em. It would hurt them to read comments like yours, because they don't understand the image destroying slants that prevade the airwaves. This is why I'm a detractor of such.

You may believe all those negative connotations you said. Here in Dallas we know that's not true. You are correct Jerry Jones is the architect to it all. That's why I don't take any of this personal. Fans like you are fed crap through organizations that make money by creating rivalries. Just wait till you get your dose of Tunafish Sandwich. Just a warning. Like I said I'm more interested in keeping the main thing, the main thing. Which is there are more Cowboys on the team who aren't all those connotations you described in your comments. Now, that's my say on the matter.

Actually, I think Big Bill is going to make a heck of a G.M. His coaching days were over. I think the Cowboys and Jerry put a sour taste in his mouth. If he is allowed to run things like he wants them, there probably is no better judge of talent and putting together a team in the NFL other than Big Bill or Bill Polian. He saw a lot of nice talent here in Dallas and grabbed what he could along with a couple of coaches. How long he stays in Miami before he get bored is another question.

      Placard_complete_small
I agree "B"Bound. I also remember when Wade first showed up and what the players were saying. Bill, I was happy to see him go and I don't have a problem him taking his coaches, and draft picks with him. I just wonder what kind of year will Jason Taylor have, and how that plays out?

I think that secondary with Vonte Davis, and Gibril Wilson going to make some noise. I agree, Bill's got the "Phish" hyped right now.

      MItresse,

I have been really busy with my Dolphins blog, and getting it out there. Also, I added a Phillies site to my repotiore too, so that has kept me on my toes.

Robbo, Truthfully I have nothing against the Cowboys, but when you say that Jason Ferguson was a castoff, and that Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland are castoffs. They were talent that the Cowboys failed to utilize the way they were meant to be. Both are extremely good at what they do now, and they are making the Boys look bad for just letting them walk. The Dolphins are hyped up like you said because of those guys. They draft smart, unlike the Boys, who draft whichever superstar is available. Rivalries make the game of football sooo much better, so why would I not try to promote them? The Nfl is getting to a stage that really true football fans do not want to see. All of the players are friends, which is ok, but their is no fire between the rivalries anymore. There is no real fire in the Dolphins when they play the Pats because of the friendly direction the league is headed towards. Hardcore rivalries is what makes the game so addicting. Not only does it create storylines for us bloggers, but it also makes the game better to watch. If your telling me that a player would knock a player on his a$$ the same way that he would if it were not a huge rivalry, then you are wrong, because nothing pumps up the players like the hatred of a rivalry. The Dolphins are bringing rivalries back. Look for the October 12th game against the Jets on MNF! There will be some major hits, and let me tell you something, Crowder hates the Jets, Porter hates the Jets, and Pennington hates the Jets for what they did to them. That is enough to persuade the rest of the players over. They also hate the Pats for announcing themselves the favorites to win the division. As inevitable as it may sound, it fires the players up because the truth is, the winner the year before should be the favorite going in to the next season.
    • mitressehc
      Placard_complete_small
Glad to see you are staying busy, and as far as the rivalry goes...I love it, hope at least that aspect of the game never changes, hopefully Tom Brady isn't hurt by any rivalries than we should be straight, and I can't wait to see my boys get in them Jet's. Gonna be a good year. I hope.

      Catman,

We know rivalry here in the NFC East. We don't have that problem with the buddyball thang. I should have said Jerry's castoffs Chris Canty, and Kevin Barnett are two of the latest good young guys to leave. Your explanation of rivalries in the game of NFL football is exactly why the NFC East is the best. We get down over here. Only one way the winning way in here.

But we with it if you got it we coming to get it. Yeah I know it's pitiful but we coming through. Gonna be interesting to see the Jets with Rex shooting at taking over th AFC East. I can see Sanchez getting rough up early, but sooner or later your East will be comparable to my East. Despite it all we need redemption. You got T.O. to deal with now. Don't go to sleep, them Bills looking to play spoiler now. Just the same good luck and be safe to you and your team.
