Team MVP: Quarterback Jon Kitna. Anything the Lions will try to accomplish on offense will revolve around their bible thumping QB. He can put up the numbers, as 8000+ yards the past 2 seasons attest.     Al - my hero! A REAL prediction. Good job!. Actually, if Detroit can start fast like last year and then surprise in a few games, I agree with the 9-7. You're right though, Matt Millen has more lives than Tom the Cat from Tom and Jerry! Won't that guy just go away??

    It wouldn't surprise me the Lions did make a run. AZS. But they have absolutely no depth, thanks to Millen's cap management, or lack thereof. An injury or two to a key player (Kitna, Smith, CJ, Roy, Bodden, take your pick), and the Lions will be deep, deep trouble.

    Unfortunately, Millen is never, ever going away. He's like a zombie. You can't kill him.
