  • oh well
  • if u look at were the ball was he lifted that foot after he caught the ball so the hell with ur photo of his one foot coming up. guess what? super bowl champs lol
  • Why we are at it, why not show him laying on the ground after the catch and claim THAT was where he caught it?

That picture shows nothing. Show EVERY frame of the catch in sequence with a clear shot of where the ball is and then you would have something to prove.

Actually lets wrap up this little silly controversy by going to http://www.steelersdepot.com/blog/2009/02/picture-of-santonio-holmes-with-2-two-feet-down-for-touchdown/

You CLEARLY see both feet down. Enough said.
  • Sorry guys but he lifted the foot before he caught the ball. But then again it doesn't matter what happened it just matters what was called.
  • you're right he lifted the foot BEFORE he caught the ball and got in DOWN right after!!! LOL Sixburgh...nuff said.
  • Waa waa waa cardinals lost, thank you steelers!
  • serves you right for the ref not calling PI on rod hood against curtis!!!
  • The Steelers got away with multiple clips and holds on that TD before the half. Once again, officials helped Pittsburgh get another title. You're like the Duke basketball of the NFL.
  • All i know os there were NO questionable calls when the Giants won, Super Bowl 42, GREATEST EVER.
  • Without a doubt his right foot never touched after full possession of the catch. Cardinals got robbed......nothing new, Steelers and the NFL got what they wanted and thats to make MILLIONS and MILLIONS of more $$$'s if the Steelers won. Nothing but the facts baby. NFL tried to put the game on ice with the 3 cheesy personal fouls on the Cardinals in 1 drive and a crucial drive in the game. Cardinals still fought back and had a chance to win. NFL didnt' call a 15 yard personal foul on Holmes for unsportsmanlike conduct which would have put the Cardinals in great field position to win the game. HOSE JOB!
  • Steelers are black and gold to the NFL. NFL has invested SO MUCH into the STEELERS. Go to any website and compare the Steelers to a team like the Cardinals and it's probably BILLIONS of dollars in investment difference between the 2 teams. It came down to money, Steelers got the calls and the Cardinals got robbed. 3 personal fouls on THE MOST crucial drive of the game called against the Cardinals, illegal block in the back on the cheesy Harrison TD, Hightower CLEARLY got pushed in the back in front of MILLIONS of people which would have taken 7 points off the board, Harrison should have been ejected for his cheap shot on Francisco plus the Cardinals should have received an AUTOMATIC 1st down but the ball already changed posession? What a JOKE! Lets not forgot the right foot that never made contact with the ground...LOL! Oh and the 15 unsportsmanlike conduct never called on Holmes after the TD. Millions and millions of people saw him use the ball as a prop but 5 officials who's job it is to do is watch a player after a TD and they dont' call it BUT the NFL fines him 10K 2 weeks after the game? Lets not forget numerous holding called not called against the Steelers throught the game but the refs called EVERYTHING possible on the Cardinals. The fix was in, all comes down to money and the Cardinals almost shocked the World. The Pittsburgh STEALERS win again and get all the calls like they always do. Steelers are like OIL to the NFL.......BLACK and GOLD for a reason baby and that EQUALS MONEY $$$$$$$$$$, its a business alright, now more than every. NOW I KNOW WHY STEELERS FANS LOVE THOSE TERRIBLE TOWELS BECAUSE THEY LOOK SO MUCH LIKE PENALTY FLAGS.....LOL!!!
  • HOLMES RIGHT FOOT NEVER TOUCHED THE GROUND ONCE HE HAD "FULL POSESSION OF THE FOOTBALL. MATTER OF FACT IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE. CARDINALS GOT HOSED, AND THE PITTSBURGE $TEALERS STEAL ANOTHER SUPER BLOW.
  • He had 2 feet in!

  • People see what they want to see, as all can see both toes were down. End of story! "PITTSBURGH GREATEST TEAM IN HISTORY" WE Are better then you! They are who we though they were! The six pack! SixBurgh! Lord's of the ring's! One for the other thumb! Get ready because here we go again! Black& Gold for Life!
  • Steelers haters, I can hear it already, oh the ref's cheated again. when Pittsburgh wins the Super Bowl back to back in 2010 or wow they are so lucky. Give me a break, we "the Steelers Nation" knows better, fact is we are better then you. So get yous to it.
  • nope, didnt touch. who cares, titans gonna go next year!
  • his jumped on his left foot to catch the ball, he wrapped his right foot behind his left one. then, he was hit by the defender and turned facing forward . foot still wrapped around the other. and liftted his feet off the ground and belly plopped out of bounds. RIGHT FOOT NEVER TOUCHED!!!
  • never touched look on my page for two, not one, but two photos showing his right foot never touched

  • look at his feet

  • cardinals got robbed.the $TEALers $TEAL ANOTHER SB
  • Steelers have won both of their last 2 super bowls on extremely controversial calls that decided the outcome of who won....The crooked zebras are very fond of the Rooney family it appears...They still got the 6 before anyone else... It would be 7 -- but 3rd was a charm for D....

I think this greeting card sums it all up. Let’s hope Santonio Holmes doesn’t fall into the same trap Plaxico Burress did.

BEN ON LETTERMAN

I had a number of worthy candidates for my first "post-SB43" post, and given a little time, I'll probably get around to mentioning all of them. But I had to go with Big Ben's appearance on David Letterman last night, which I thought was pretty entertaining. No, he didn't get a shave this time around, but it was a nice showing nonetheless. And what a busy day for #7 yesterday...following...
