Does Mcnabb support Obama?

I found this to be an interesting question that hasn't been brought up that I know of. By all accounts Pennsylvania is usually a blue state which usually means an easy win for the Democratic party. Ed Rendell alluded to the fact that Obama would have difficulty winning Pennsylvania because of a strongly white conservative base that still is not ready for a black president. As far as I know, Donovan Mcnabb has not come out and thrown his support behind any candidate. I would like to assume he supports Obama for multiple reasons. First of all Mcnabb's hometown is Chicago, IL, which is the base of Obama's candidacy since he is Senator of Illinois. Second of all I've always pegged Mcnabb as a democrat, just based on his past views, and the fact that he is college educated. And of course the fact that they are black has to weigh heavily, regardless of whether or not we think that is important. I really would love to hear from Mcnabb on this subject, no matter who he supports, just to hear an athlete of his stature take a stance either way would be monumental and would give me an even greater respect for him as a man. I hold out minimal hope of this as I know the old saying of Mr. Michael Jordan: Republicans buy shoes too. Yes they do Mike, but having an opinion is our right, and anyone who is willing to exercise that right deserves all of our respect, no matter which side is chosen. So Mr. Mcnabb, and all athletes for that matter, Who will it be? Mccain, Clinton, or Obama?

Go EAGLES and GO OBAMA!,

That's his personal choice, just like faith or anything else. Show some respect and let the dude enjoy his off season.

As far as I know most people aren't shy about their faith, especially Mcnabb, so I don't know why that would be out of bounds.

TRUTH, lay it out!!!!!! perfect answer.........

It's a persons personal choice and each person should have some space and be respected for it. actually MOST PEOPLE are indeed private about thier faith , it's one of the things you should NOT discuss at work right along with politics.
I does not matter who he would vote for so please respect that. You already know everything the guy does is made into headlines one way or another so just let it go. Give him some space on that.

here
buh bye

football and politics...doesnt mix easily...who cares who he supports its his choice thats why we VOTE... but why should he come out and say when someone out there is just wanting to slam another black guy. i'm white and cant stand the racial problems of this country. we are all equal no matter what. it should never be about black and white but sadly it is. and we have only done it to ourselves. a scar that will never go away. let him be private bout some things i'm tired of seeing such a great man slammed in the media so much.

I'm not slamming him, far from it, I was just interested, jeez. He doesn't have to answer nor do I expect an answer, I'm just interested ok? Am I not allowed to take an interest on one of my favorite players interests? Why am I being so vilified about this post sheesh lol.

Maybe Arlen Specter can force the Pats to give Randy Moss to the Eagles as a penalty for the Sypgate thing. I think he has more pull than Obama. Hey, D-Mac, get with Arlen.

lol , that's why I luv ck0712,
funny

Y'all are a hot mess! LOL I agree that it is a private matter. However, I didnt' take the post to be negative. I just think a fan wanted to know where Donovan stood on the issue. I really do not think he expected and answer. Just a post to get feedback that is all. :) JMHO

Hmm Truth what about luvin me? LOL

LOL u 2 !!!!!!

Would you have posted this if the Democratic noms were white men?

I'll be honest probably not, thats why this is such a hot topic this year, because it isn't the same old rich old white men running for office. Now its rich young black man, rich old white woman, Republicans stuck with rich old white man as they are expected to. It is not my intention to make this a race or sex issue, but unfortunately in this world it has be to considered heavily by many. Now if Mcnabb wants to keep his vote close to the vest thats fine, this post was more about what people thought anyways, just to get some reaction and stir the pot a little.

Oh okay, well hey, its an intriguing subject. This is definetly going to be an interesting democratic election, and I am in Texas and we can't wait to vote. I just hope that the rest of the U.S. is ready for either a woman or black president. As far as McNabb's vote, I don't believe he would back either one publicly.

PERFECT VALENCIA...........

funkediva you already know you're my Queen ! I just know how they give the homeboy hell over anything and he deserves a break. He's ( Donovan) is actually a private person so I was telling dude to consider that when you are asking things like that. even McNabb's off the record comments become front page news... LOL !!!
Luv You Ma
Holla

I agree Truth. Quiet actually admitted that he just wanted some feedback. Yeah and I am tired of them messing with My Donovan. They are gonna make me pack a brown bag and my big momma purse and leave Mississippi coming to kick some butt....

LMAO funkediva!!!
