Florida Highway Patrol troopers found the Dolphin linebacker's mangled 2007 pickup truck on the shoulder of a northbound exit ramp from Florida's Turnpike at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. But where was Crowder? And what about the two items he left behind: a firearm and crutches."

    This won't end well, despite Lance Briggs' success in running away from the wreck.

    Why not just toss the gun and stay with the car? That's not a crime.

    To be clear, HAVING the gun is (probably) a crime, but if you're not caught with it they can't charge you.

      Reminds me of Erik William's wreck a few years ago in Dallas, except he wasn't able to get away. Anyone out that time of the night or morning is usually up to no good.

    That is so weird, why not just take the gun with you when you leave the scene so matters wont get worst?!?!
