Yesterday, Donte' Stallworth became the latest entry into the 2008 free agent WR market. The Patriots declined to pick up a combined $8 million option that was due to Stallworth if he remained on the roster through the end of next week.
Adding playmakers is high on the Titans' agenda as they embark upon free agency. Despite nagging hamstring injuries, Stallworth is one of the league's better playmakers at the wide receiver position.
He would be a nice addition to a Titan receiving group that is in need of an infusion of talent.

Can the Patriots break the Super Bowl-losers curse?
When an NFL team loses in the Super Bowl, they inevitably perform badly the very next season (most often not even making the playoffs). Do you think the New England Patriots can break this longstanding NFL streak of bad luck? Or is the Spygate controversy an early sign that the Pats tank in 2008?
Goodell goes "Soup Nazi" on Pacman Jones
Simply put, the commissioner told him, "No Football for you!" Pacman's NFL suspension has been extended and will not be reviewed until sometime before the opening of training camp. He is no longer even allowed to workout at team facilities.
Pacman's lawyer: "Most recently, we've been told that he won't be reinstated immediately as was our hope. The...
Titans offseason positional review - fullbacks and H-backs
I'm combining the reviews of the fullbacks and H-backs because all of them but one are guys who can play multiple positions and it's nice to have a few guys like that on your team. All of them also contribute on special teams.
The two positions can sometimes be used interchangeably, as well, although I don't recall Mike Heimerdinger doing a lot of that in his previous...
Eagles Sign Patriots Wide Receiver!
No, it's not Randy Moss or Donte' Stallworth. The Eagles signed wide receiver Brandon "Bam" Childress, who has been on the Patriots practice squad for the last few years, to a two year contract. This is not the move for a playmaker that we have been waiting for, as Childress has only 3 career receptions.
Patriots, Moss close to a new deal?
Well, you can decide. He was not franchised, which many thought he would be, but this does not mean he is out of NE. If somehow the two parties have come to a mulit-year deal, the announcement can not be made until the NFL new year begins on Feb 29.
Have to wait and see.
Patriots' Bam Childress making opportunities and lands with the Eagles
Wide receiver Bam Childress is not a household name by any means, but you would not know that by the way he was playing during the Patriots training camp in 2007.
Childress has been sort of a fan favorite during the past couple years in training camp and preseason games, but has yet to make a big impression during the season. Childress gave the impresion of being a younger Troy...
Stallworth is a free agent
i just saw on espn at the bottom, where they show all the updates, that the Patriots denied the offer of Stallworth and he is now a free agent. I havent seen it anywhere else so i posted it up.
Titans offseason positional review - running backs
The ground game was undoubtedly the strength of the offense in 2007, but I understand why some people feel that it needs to be upgraded. There were legitimate concerns and complaints about all the Titans' backs, for various reasons, for a good portion of the last season...

Moss Not Tagged by Patriots
Don't get your hopes up, Eagles fans. Even though I wrote ten days ago that the Eagles would be interested in Randy Moss if he was available, it appears that the New England Patriots won't be placing the franchise tag on Moss because they have agreed to a multi-year deal with the receiver. The deal can't be announced until free agency starts, so I am sure there will be...
