Eagles fans are focusing on T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Anquan Boldin (not an UFA, but they can try and trade for him), and Julius Peppers. Although I would be thrilled to have any of them, with both Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan entering free agency, I wouldn't be surprised if Pro Bowl Carolina OT Jordan Gross is the #1 priority on the Eagles offseason list. Read more about Jordan Gross here...

  • yea i said a while ago gross is clearly the best choice w/ haynesworth next. but gross will likely resign and i doubt the titans will just let haynesworth go
  • Even though Haynesworth is a solid player, we don't need him. We have two 1st rounders on that D-Line and 2nd rounder Laws. Bunkley had a tremendous season and Patterson was solid too.
  • well the thing is he would be the 2nd best free agent for us. he would help w/ the run and pass rush more then peppers, and is clearly a better player then housh is at his position. plus most the good players wont hit the market. i feel gross wont hit the market. he would solve a lot of problems if we could get him, but since not we might as well go for housh since hes a guy who is likely to hit the market and help us

Arizona Cardinals News: Update on All Things Anquan Boldin Related

I think it's fair to say that Anquan Boldin and his spat with the Arizona Cardinals management is going to be a focal point this off season. Some of the stuff is border line disturbing and some of the outlandish trade suggestions are almost laughable b...

Cincinnati not looking to franchise Houshmandzadeh

According to the Dayton Daily News, Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh is not a likely candidate to receive the team’s franchise designation this off-season. The Bengals would have to buck up close to $10 million if they wanted to lock him down, and it could backfire on them as Housh made it pretty ...

Bengals Likley Won’t Tag WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh

It’s getting closer to the start of free agency, and it looks as if the Bengals best wide out - T.J. Houshmandzadeh is going to bail on the team and head for a big payday and probably more wins. Today’s Dayton Daily News says that the team probably won’t tag T.J., making it even [...]

Eagles Status

I am an Eagles fan and I always will be.  Yes, the Eagles have not made popular moves but we are in better standing then most people make you believe.  Our line is solidified without Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan.  On the right side we have the Andrews brothers, center Jamal jackson, Max Jean Giles at lg and Todd Herremans at left tackle.  We are going to be fine on the line if not...

Eagles OT Jon Runyan Leaves With Apparent Concussion

Eagles RT Jon Runyan left Sunday's season finale with a concussion. He was called doubtful to return. Winston Justice replaced Runyan, who will enter...

Boldin done with the Cards… for now

According to ESPN Insider, Arizona WR Anquan Boldin is making a major attempt to get out of the desert this off-season, and has instructed his agent, Drew Rosenhaus (of Terrell Owens fame), to not accept any contract extension proposal passed along by the Cardinals. In reporting this bit of ...

Warner, Cardinals to begin talking soon about new contract

Although Arizona Republic contributor Kent Somers writes that Kurt Warner and the Cardinals could begin discussing a new contract as early as this week, he also doesn’t squash the idea that Warner could still retire this I think it’s a mistake, however, to view that as a definitive ...

Is Offensive Line Really a Need?

Most (myself included) feel the Eagles will target the O-line early in the April draft. If not the first round, probably the 2nd or 3rd. It makes sense considering Tra Thomas is gone, and Jon Runyan likely won’t be re-signed. Stacy Andrews is in the fold, but is his addition enough? Let’s take a look at [...]

The NFL Offseason Is Here, That Means Non Stop Drew Rosenhaus

The Super Bowl champion has been crowned and the Pro Bowl is in the books so now Drew Rosenhaus is beginning his yearly attempt of high jacking every sports media outlet for the next couple of months. His first move? He has deemed Plaxico Burress, Chad Johnson, and Anquan Boldin as trade-able. He even went so far as to send an email to every team in the league to announce the new development.

Rosenhaus Says He’s Not Been Told About Cowboys Wanting to Move or Release Owens

It was an interesting week as agent Drew Rosenhaus threw out there that three of his clients, all WR’s want to be traded - Anquan Boldin of the NFC champion Arizona Cardinals, Plaxico Burress of the New York Giants and Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals. With that though, there has been nothing said about Terrell [...]

Eagles sign Stacy Andrews; Housh visiting with Seahawks

The Eagles have reportedly signed free agent guard Stacy Andrews, the brother of current Eagles' tackle Shawn Andrews. This most likely means that Jon Runyan's time in Philly has come to an end, despite not missing a game in nine seasons, playing through numerous injuries.Free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has repeatedly expressed interest in signing with the Eagles, is...

Cleveland Browns Draft Needs

The upcoming 2009 NFL Draft is going to be very important for the Browns, mainly because it will be the first of the Kokinis-Mangini regime, giving fans an idea of how the next three years or so will shake out.? Granted, the new GM will be at a slight disadvantage having been dealt a team ...

Wish List: Jordan Gross

The Player: Jordan Gross The Reason: Walter Jones, Seattle's premier left tackle and arguably greatest player in franchise history, is getting older every year and although he remains a top tackle in the game, has seen a decline in his play. Sean Locklear, a starter at right tackle who contributed to Shaun Alexander's MVP year, hasn't been able to play up...

Free Agency Recap

It’s been a topsy-turvy ten days for the Eagles since free agency kicked off. There have been two big-name additions and so far, six departures. We said hello to Stacy Andrews and Sean Jones and waved goodbye to B-Dawk, Tra, Buck, Considine, Lito and G-Lew. The jury is still out on Jon Runyan and L.J. Smith. [...]
