The Eagles have until tomorrow at 6 pm to finalize their 53 man roster. Today, they cut 8 players to get their roster down to 67, meaning there are still 14 more cuts to go. The following players were cut: RB Ryan Moats WR Bam Childress WR Jamal Jones G Stefan Rodgers LB Pago Togafau CB Therrian Fontenot CB Nick Graham S Marcus Paschal None of those players are a surprise. Moats is the biggest name listed there, but his days have been numbered for a while considering he was the 5th best running back in camp. He showed some promise as a rookie a few years ago but hasn't shown much improvement since. Childress and Jones both showed some flashes of potential but the Eagles already have too many receivers. Paschal also looks like he might have a future in the NFL but the Eagles are too deep at safety and there is no way they would keep more than 5 on the roster. There are still 14 more cuts to go. How is Aj Feeley in the NFL + thoughts about Dontae Culpepper

AJ Fiely has to be one of the worst backup QB's in the NFL.I dont know how this guy has a job,and a guy like Dantae Culpepper cant get on a team. This is kind of a discrace if you ask me. Aj throws to many INT's and cant put the ball anywhere a reciever who is'nt 8ft. tall could catch it,he sucks and should be cut!! I dont know I was just thinking about how a good Qb...

Waiver Wire

I think the Eagles should keep all options open on the waiver wire. I say look at DT'S, Safeties, and possibly "O" Line help.

Demps adds zip to Eagles' special teams

CLOSE YOUR eyes for a minute. (It isn't hard given the alternative, which is the legalized larceny that the NFL perpetrates on this week of every summer. Then again, the stadium was half-full last night for the Eagles and the Jets and the people who did show up were still home in time to see Obama. Or the Phillies. Or Dr. Phil.) But we digress. Again, close your eyes. Pretend...

Asked to recall a memorable speech by his head coach during his six seasons with the Eagles, cornerback Lito Sheppard could come up with only one thing. "I'll treat you to some cheeseburgers," he said, laughing about Andy Reid's signature Saturday night ritual. "He says that every week. It's the snack...
