If we sign assant samuel i believe we can put the hard-hitting Sheldon brown at Strong Safety in the 4-3 defense and if they spread the field with 4 WR stick Mikell in at safety and put Brown Lito Samuel and Hanson/James in coverage. If we get Samuel AND another explosive WR along with Curtis and westbrook.... im getting good feelings...

i think the reason samuels salary demand has dropped so much is people questioning if it was just playing on a great team or if he is a great player. Only time will tell. An the eagles would be foolish to sign him to a 10 year deal for any amount thats too long to sign an NFL player at any position. and besides 5 years at 55 million is actually more per year just fewer years which i think is better for the eagles. i would like the eagles to get samuel and wilson then put together a trade involving lito shepard for a big time WR but i dontknow if it is do able

Ehh not exactly. We would SIGN Samuel. there is no trade there. We don't need to drop sheppherd to pick up Samuel. We can slide Lito to the left side and put Brown in a Strong Safety. Can you say one of the best secondaries in football? I sure can.

Also, if we can get Andre Davis, Fitz, or even Stallworth, we'll have one of the best teams in football. With Westbrook making a huge name for himself and with Smith healthy and if you add another good reciever??? hahaha move over cowgirls, we're takin our seat at the top of the NFC East again.
