What dont you people understand. The Eagles FO doesnt believe they need wideout. They have made that abundtly clear. They took a "stab at Moss" yeah right. PR move to appease fans and Dmac. Continued fruitless trys to add up to much in my book. ANd this draft confirms it. Jackson is punt returner. ONly reason why he was selected. FO felt that there was Need at pr/kr position. A 5'9 160lb wideout is a joke in NFL. Traded down when they could have had Devin THomas. Hell they could have got him in end of first, early second with all these useless picks they will undoutely waste on OT OR DT. An impact reciever was available but they balked as usual. When will they decide to stop wasting Dmac career. PEYton manning has 3 a+ wideouts. Go down the list Montana ELway Brady.. ALL had great wideout. Yet here we are with Trash Stinkston MItchell Lewis. I still think the Eagles can get the big play WR we still need even after the draft. If Lito isnt traded by the end of the draft tomorrow I wouldnt be surprised at all if the Eagles are holding onto him as part of a trade package. In other words Chad Johnson. I know Marvin Lewis keeps saying that he refuses to trade him but I honestly think that one of the main reasons he doesnt want to get rid of him right now is because of the 8.03 million hit they will take against the salary cap if he is traded before June 1st. Now if Reid has Lito after the draft they can put together a deal, Lito and a 2009 first round pick for Chad Johnson after the June 1st deadline.....What does everyone think?

I do like the picks the FO made today though.....Laws can be a rotational player on the D line, that way we can keep Bunkley and Patterson fresh throughout the game.....Jackson is ok too, smaller in size and weight than I would have hoped for but i think he will make up for that with just pure speed....Steve Smith with Carolina is a small receiver also and they were saying alot of the same thing about him that they are saying about Jackson now......Steve Smith came out and proved he was the man......Even with all of this I am hoping they make a trade for an elite WR......I think Jackson with get on the field once in a while this year and be a fantastic PR/KR but we still need that break-out receiver......so for todays trades and pick-ups I give the Eagles a solid B- for the first day of the draft......Let's hope tomorrow's an A++ day

tcbailey its called having a rotation......though i dont agree with the pick...guess it makes sense to have lots of defensive linemen since our offense will be 3 and out a lot without a great wide out to help mcnabb and west
