According to ProFootballTalk.com, a wide receiver named Boldin has had a private workout with the Eagles. No, it isn't Anquan, but it is his younger brother, D.J. Boldin. D.J. was a wideout for Wake Forest who isn't getting a lot of draft attention but the Eagles invited him in to take a closer look. D.J. figures to be a second day pick.... he wasn't even invited to the combine.
    • yea he is pretty good. he just became a wr in college so his #s arent great but hes showed he can get open, has good hands, and has the great run after the catch ability his brother does. y not just take him in the 6th round?

after watchin some clips he looks very much like a very undeveloped Q and since we already have jerry rice part 2 (DJAX 4 life) if we could add a kid like this who could possibly devolp into his brother in the future with sum good groming man wed deff be set 4 the future
    • yea he needs some time but since it looks like we wont get that true #1 any time soon, y not use a late rounder on him. cut reggie brown to make room for a guy who actually has upside

Get it through your thick head...we are not cutting Reggie this year. Unless you want to donate the $3million our FO would be throwing away if they cut him I highly doubt they'd do that. Doesn't make an ounce of business sense.

Either way the 3 million is a waste. 1 way we pay it to a player who might not see ANY action. Or we can pay him to leave and open another spot.
        • the cut kearse. sometimes even the eagles take cap hits and plus i was just saying we should not that we will

We needed the roster spot for some immensely talented young players and Kearse's career was over. I'm not certain they're ready to give up on Reggie just yet, as much as we'd all like them to. Most 5-6 WRs never see game action anyway.
        • ItsWhatever
True, i guess I'd rather have Reggie forced into a starter role, ( due to injuries ), then some rookie receiver.

I think it would be cool if we got him in the 4th or 5th.. He can really run after the catch..

He'd be worth a 5th...we've got a million picks in that round anyway! Looks like he had some decent numbers last year at Wake so that should say a little something about him.
  • eagles4ever05
Hey four 5th round picks wouldnt care if we get him
  • my mind goes back to o3 .you see ilive inup state n.y. bills county and i ask the panel would they take q and they said he ran a slow 40 time at the combine and what did he do that year roty you guy will get a steal i am adolphin frist but afootball fan also and that family it all in the family
