I agree with the comment on the actual blog about cervical infusion. It sounds like thats the procedure theyre eluding to. I personally have been putting off the surgery for about 4 years, and its no picnic, and Im obviously not Ed Reed and dont/cant do 1/1000 of what the man does. Its a very unfortunate situation to be in, and it puts you in a position to have to make choice that could end up being the wrong one. I thought my herniated T4 was a nightmare and dibilitating, who things can get much worse. I wish the best for Ed Reed, Im not Ravens fan by any stretch, but I hate seeing unfortunate injuries happen to any player. Especially such a serious injury to one of my favorite players in the league. Put it this way, if he decides to have the procedure, no more football or much of anything athletic, but more of Sundays (and every other day) on the couch watching NFL ticket and popping Oxycontin and Roxies for the rest of his life, which is a very unfortunate situation for someone who has dedicated his body and given his all during his career, lets just all hope something happens where infusion isnt the case and they can do something else to stabilize the injury and help to prevent further damage from being done whether that means no more football or not. At this point from my personal experience, it looks like no more football is going to be the unfortunate case with Ed. Pray for the man, he needs it.
