YES, pay the man, he is a stud and only getting better and better, in spite of what many narrow minded eagles fans say, especially one named fartsmella. If Eli was an eagle and won them a Super Bowl, they would kiss his butt on main st. I root for the Giants but have always given McNabb his due, thats called class. Something a lot of eagle fans do not have, not all of them but many of them.

He's going to make more money than McNabb???? Hahahahaha!!!!!! Now, that's got to be disheartening for Eagles fans.
  • i give manning credit for that play he made in the superbowl....avoiding that sack, i definately thought it was over then he made a play...made a nice toss to plaxico for the winning score...but i dont know if eli can succeed with the receivers he has...atleast not yet..it will be touch replacing burress and toomer.they are young though and still have time. Equivalent to the eagles receiving corp

Go ahead and pay the man, He's good for about 2 or 3 more rings.
And yet Mcnothing will retire with only a decoder ring from Cracker jacks
    • Does eli manning plan on getting married 2 or 3 times in his life? that is the only way he will get another ring. He only has one because of plaxico..
    • oh yeah and also because of steve spagnuolo(who came from the eagles) which u lost plaxico and spagnuolo.
    • giantsrepeat
The Plaxico arguments are getting so weak, there were other players on that team that WON that Super Bowl.

      experience.
  • gmen3birds0
I liked the married line gotta give you that one

So your saying plaxico play all the positions in the superbowl?
    • Plaxico was a HUGE part of elis success...and again...we saw the true eli last year without burress
  • giantsrepeat
Yeah , and Eli haters just refuse to give him credit because they have never had a QB win them the big one. It's all sour grapes dude and it getting real old.

Eli is laughing all the way to the bank.
    • i gave eli credit for that play he made in the superbowl....when he avoided that sack, it was a great catch as well but eli made that happen with gettin away from that. He also made a nice throw to Burress to win it.Burress made the other receivers better. Having plaxico opened up the other receivers. Now they dont have to double anybody
  • plus i would take eli manning over tony romo or jason campbell anyday of the week

Hell, I'd even take him over McNabb after what he did in the Super Bowl.

without burress, he will be just an average quarterback, that`s it.

Just depends on if Nicks or someone else steps up to the plate. I think Nicks is going to be good, but he may need a year to develop, but with his size, he could create some offense right away.
    • i agree with the both of you...nicks will be a stud but like u said he may need some time to develop
  • khollen
    Placard_complete_small
but that still only leaves him with one weapon, what happens when he gets double covered?

      Then Eli runs like hell.
    • ItsWhatever
finally something Eagles/Cowboy fans can agree on.

I think Romo saw too much of that against the Eagles last December.
