Everson Walls to give kidney to Shawn Springs' Dad

Since Dwight Clark's miracle catch, Walls has felt the need to make up for his poor coverage. He is making a big surge here, giving his kidney to Ron Springs, a former teammate.

Walls is a far better person than I could ever be. They were teammates so long ago. I would never give anyone from my little league team a vital organ.

Especially to Shawn Springs' Dad. What a bust his son has been. Maybe if he inherited better kidneys, he might have lived up to his potential.
