dude im tired of the front runners on here... i havent seen any fan in philly bitch as much about the team after a loss as much as i have seen some kids on here... Dont blame Andy Reid, dont blame Mcnabb... Blame Jewfrey Lurie!!! Thats who i blame... and if half of you knew what you were talking about, andy only called 50% of the calls todays game!

People, we have a pretty young team here still... that has alot of promise...

Desean Jackson is showing more and more every week... Stu Bradley is becoming one of my fav eagles, he had 10 tackles today along with Mike Patterson!

You can blame the coach or mcnabb, but you can say you want them gone because we aint going to be 16 - 0! if you blame anyone, blame the D, blame jim johnson... this was the worse game all season. our only sack was from dawkins!

I aint giving up on my team, I bleed green, i love my eagles, id cheer for them and be behind them 100% if they lost all 16 games. yeah its frustrating, but dont make yourself look like a bunch of front runners. if you want to act that way, the eagles and philly dont want your fandom, go be a cowboys fan!

And besides, redskins are good this year... i picked them to be 2nd before the season started...

and lastly, those who are front runners, please dont start cheering on the phillies, i dont need your negativity jinxing them either! and lay off the sixers, phantoms and flyers too... please! you are the true curse of the philly teams....

it's not being a frontrunner it's called letting the team know that we're frustrated and not putting up with the lies and garbage they try to feed us!!! the skins aren't that good they have been lucky to this point and i expect the wheels to fall off that train soon!!! the eagles let them off the hook!!!

I agree with LILEAGLE. The EAGLES are a good team and the Skins aren't so good, so why call these plays that defeat our team. That 50 yard FG is a perfect example. We were on the 35 for christs sake, and it was 4th and 5. Akers can no longer make those long shots, why let him try. Take the chance that MAY pay off. Even if it didn't at least you showed some confidence in the offense and you're no further backed up then you were. I really think that was a game changing play. After that missed FG attempt our D went flat.
I am not a frontrunner. I have always been an EAGLES fan, but I do not like them to give away games for a reason I cannot comprehend.

the washington post this morning interviewed the skin's d and they said from playing the eagles all the time they knew reid doesn't do well without scripting his plays and when they don't work he continues to try to use them!!!! thus proving he doesn't adjust well!!! we childress back!!!

You and Jimmy Rollins need to check out a dictionary and look up the word front runner. Because our playcalling is horrible and we cant get SQUAT done were "frontrunners"?? That makes no sense whatsoever. I didnt see one Eagles fan say they werent a fan anymore because they were lost, they expressed their frustrations with the horrible playcalling and lack of spending money and getting more playmakers before it was to late. Lorenzo Booker doesnt count as a playmaker, and neither does Chris CLemons. They would actually have to play, let alone play well.

im not talking about those on here who are letting thier frustrations out, thats cool i do it too...

im talking about those who dont back thier team when they are down, but will stroke off andy reid and the boys when they are winning. i know what a front runner is... and its someone who only cheers for a team that doing good... like half the people cheering for the phillies...

dont turn your back cuz of a couple losses, love your team despite

Well I never liked McNabb aside from the fact that he's on the team I root for. And Reid should have gone off and f-ed himself years ago.

LilEagle, everyone is expecting the wheels to fall off, but it aint happening, Portis is having his best year, Jason Campbell is going to show he is the best QB in the NFC, i dont base my opinions just because i like or dislike a team.. im honest and i call it as i see it. you might disagree, and you can.

i just with fans would show the same love to thier team regardless if they lose or win. we have problems, yes, but crying wont solve it. it starts with the front office. you buy tickets, you buy the jerseys. you want it to change, stop buying that shit and hit the team where it hurts, thats when they will listen bud.

To me, there's a difference between liking a team as a complete and individual entity.I am comfortable criticizing individual components whenever I feel it is valid. I don't believe doing so makes me less of a fan of the team. This is not to say my judgment is always correct or even rational but it demonstrates that I care.

i agree that our team has a lot of problems right now! but i am behind them 100% no matter if the win or lose,i really could not believe my eyes yesterday at some of the things that happened like i have said previously that i have been an eagles fan since i was ten years old and have never left their side for even one moment,my wife told me yesterday that i was being childish because i quit watching the game! i told her that i couldn't watch them beat themselves and that it hurt real bad,but i will always love my team unconditionally.

The Redskins aren't that bad. They've won two road games against teams in the NFC East, something no other team will accomplish this season. You'll have plenty of time to look back at this weekend as the turning point, assuming you can get your act together. Tell your offensive linemen to stop falling down, maybe then Westbrook wouldn't break himself trying not to step on them.

The coaches are having a tough time. It happens to players and it can happen to coaches too. But they need Andrews back in the lineup. The coaches need to improve the adjustments during the game and at halftime. I wouldnt say that Lurie has anything to do with this slump. There is more talent on the team than in recent years.

and Spotella what if the eagles had gone for it and not made it then everyone would be crying that Reid should of kicked the fg he cant win. Look the Eagles are a good team that hasnt played up to their potential and the d is gonna make some mistakes with young LBs and Mikell back there the offense has been flat since the dallas game i think they need to mix it up with some diffrent play calling and Reid shouldnt call any plays at all none zero ziltch let the O cordinator do that.

AMEN! J-Roll was exactly right! As soon as something doesn't go our way, 80% of Philly fans are calling for somebody to be fired. No wonder we haven't won a championship in my lifetime, nobodys been in one position long enough to get the job done the right way.

see, a barker with wisdom has my back on this... thats exactly how i feel... if the fans were behind the team through thick and thin, they will stick together also. philly fans put so much pressure on the teams, they have to go out every night thinking they have to play perfect or else. i follow all 162 games of the baseball season, not once did i call for firing charlie when the team had a downfall for a while, i knew we would get out of it.

its the same with pat burrell... when hes hot the fans are in love with him, but get one lil slump and he needs to be traded, now i bet they are all riding his dick again after the 2 home runs he hit to win the nlds

That's BS. Reid HASN'T been fired. He has been given plenty of time to nuture his football strategy and all the power necessary to handpick the components. Billy King was allowed to run a franchise into the ground while paying huge money for mediocre players. That took a lot of time. I suppose your view is accurate with regard to the Flyers and possibly the Phillies although Manuel has turned out to be a pretty good fit.Baffling at times but effective. If Bowa wins this series I guess I'd concede the Phillies as victims of your point, too.

Like the post i get annoyed with some of our fans too...it seems the ones that complain the most are the ones that werent fans when we were average. good post...i think we gotta blame the play calling and our lack of red zone offense. Our tight end blows..lj smith

thank you... i been an eagles fan for a long time. ill cheer for them 16-0 or 0-16...

for christ sakes, my 2nd fav team is the phins... and they still are... and they been winning this year... you know, losing seasons make you enjoy wins more... it feels like the phins won the superbowl this year

hey i stopped gettin upset a couple of years ago. they players don't care cause they get big bucks. the coach sure as sh!t don't care cause he gets big bucks! so i just watch them and root for them but they have lost 2 weeks in a row to inferior teams! it's either the playcalling or the players lack of heart or talent? let's just laugh and have a good time!

ill tell you what happened to our team,

week 1 they came out with passion, and you saw this energy... they havent had that since they lost. like they gave up after losing to dallas....

I guess but I think you're confusing constant bitching with giving up.I mean, I hear people say they're done all the time, admittedly I did with the Phillies.But even then I still watched every game.I just didn't talk about them as much.I can't think of anyone I've ever known that made the "I'm done" proclamation that actually quit being a fan. Maybe it happens all the time.I just don't see it.
