PLAYERS: Michael Vick
The shopping around of QB Michael Vick continued over the draft weekend for the Falcons, and reports are they found no takers. Word is the Falcons were willing to give up the former first-round QB for a 7th round pick, and it didn’t happen. The issue may not even be the pick, it may be [...]

why would anybody give anything for him?

Uts not even about the compensation. Some desperate team would give a 7th for him.. Its about having to pick up his $9 million dollar salary the next year he plays. I dont think he is worth a dirty jock strap, and hope he has to work 100 hours a week for free as a volunteer @ an animal rescue.

*Its...and work there for the rest of his life until he is old and no longer able to work, and at that point he shold be euthanized.

i truely dont see vick coming back, he is not good enough to be worth the trouble and publicity that the team would get, hes rusty, older, and i'd be surprised to see a team sign him let alone give up even a 7th round pick for him

Good. I hope he never plays football again.

The guy paid his dues. Why dont you have a little more anger towards the corporate thieves that are raiding your wallet everyday. Some people have twisted view of reality. He screwed up killed some helpless animals. The corporate raiders screw up and they kill lots of people. Get your priorities straight.

Kind of like PacMan. How long can you continue to defend the guy? This is not the only time he's been in the "doghouse".
    • PhillyInATL
not even worth trying to reason with you...

He did NOT pay his dues. Starve a bunch of dogs and lock him in a cage with them, then I will say he paid.
  • giantsrepeat
Did the Falcons really expect to find takers. He will probably play football again, but it may be in Canada.

He could join Quincy Carter down in TX on the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of the arenafootball2 league. I'm sure he could beat Quincy out for that job.

The guy was a great football player just a PR's worst nightmare, yea it was horrible what he did but they gave crackman jones a third fourth and fifth chance and some guy is paralized cause of him, i guess killing dogs is worse than shooting up clubs, i say bounce every trouble maker out of the league, what me and a million other people would to give to be in their shoes
  • schmidtdigler
He fought fighting dogs heaven forbid. He did the time let it go. He wasnt raping women or selling crack he was fighting dogs bred to fight it is a crime but he never endangered peoples lives like the numerous @$$holes getting DUIs. Id like to see him get a 2nd chance. Quit letting the media dictate the way you view this man.
    • Spotella
      Placard_complete_small
It's not the media dictating the way I view him, it's my morals and ethics. Animals are living creatures and he murdered many. I have a love for life!

It's illegal, no matter what or how he was doing it. He's also a crackhead.
  • schmidtdigler
    Do you eat meat spotella?
    • Spotella
      Placard_complete_small
Don't try and pull that sh1t, I do eat meat from animals killed in a humane way, not starved and then thrown helplessly into a ring for the enjoyment of psychos.
  • schmidtdigler
We need to quit worrying about animals and start worrying about kids in this country with to little food to eat, thats a crime.
    • BowlBound
      Placard_complete_small
What's that got to do with killing dogs for sport?
    • Spotella
      Placard_complete_small
No we need to worry about animals AND worry about people (not only kids) in this world (not just this country) with too little food to eat. We can do multitasking.
      • hockeychick23
        Placard_complete_small
Totally agree. We can multi-task. I spend my time between helping animals and helping stop child sex-slavery here in the U.S. If I can focus on more than one issue at a time, then so can everyone else.

          Placard_complete_small
No problem. And thankyou very much. I just get so mad when people don't care about what happens to animals just because they are animals. I also think it's important to know that people can focus on more than one issue at once.
  • schmidtdigler
and I wasnt giving you anything just trying to see what your views are man
  • schmidtdigler
No.1 Cowgirls fan wrong site go suck Tony Romos d1ck No.2 Im making the point that we as a society put are hate in the wrong places there are other things that should get us much angrier than fighting dogs but we exept them because the media doesnt make them a big deal

      Placard_complete_small
Oh, you just had to bring that into it. Why don't you just put your head between your won legs and do yourself, dude. I can go where I want on here. Who are you, the YB police? Judging by your comments, maybe you like dogs balls.
    • apollokid
      Placard_complete_small
Just fighting dogs huh? Actually he was BRUTALLY KILLING and torturing HELPLESS DEFENSELESS ANIMALS. If we dont protect them, than who will? They cant protect themselves and anyone who thinks its not a big deal to torture innocent helpless living creatures has serious issues.

That's all you got, huh? Weak. It's a football game. If I spent that much time hyping the number of times we beat the Eagles in my lifetime, I'd still be laughing 24 hours a day. And, use your regular ID instead of hiding behind another one. Adios.

You do realize the mistreatment of animals hurt your health as well right people? Most of the meat you eat comes from factory farms where animals are mistreated everyday. They're holed up in small cages where they are unable to move or do anything an open ranged animal is allowed to do, they are pumped with steroids and antibiotics because these animals are more susceptiable to infection. You're eating animals injected with so many crap and animals that have been sick. And the department of agriculture doesn't have the man power to regulate these factory farms. So maybe people should care about the mistreatment of animals.
