Former 3rd Overall Pick - Released…Again

The Atlanta Falcons have released Joey Harrington, the third overall pick from the 2002 draft who starred at the University of Oregon prior to learning that football isn't easy.

Harrington and #1 overall pick David Carr are the posterboys for what is likely one of the poorest quarterback classes in NFL Draft history.

Y'know I actually liked what I saw of Harrington in Miami. I think Joey has more upside than downside and I really think the guy just hasn't had any luck in his NFL career whatsoever. Maybe this time he'll land on his feet - but I won't hold my breath! Good luck, 'Jonah' Harrington...

Well, it appears Harrington is headed back to Atlanta. If they draft a quarterback, maybe he'll be there to tell the new guy exactly what not to do.
