The poise and confidence of the man who put on the draft day hat was there. And God only knows the amount of excited fans, waiting to hear the name called from Mr. Tagliabue's mouth. Friends, this was the beginning of what has become known as- the David Carr era.

    being a texans fan, i think that carr just lost his confidence the first couple of years he was in houston. he got beat up pretty bad by defenses since hou did not have an offensive line worth a darn.
