The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported"That the big-name pass-catcher would sign with Miami. The report, which cited two anonymous sources, did not provide anyother details, aside from noting that Glenn was expected to sign in the next few days. However, the eventual evaluation of Glenn's knee, which underwent two surgeries last season, likely will play a major role in whether the team actually signs him. Miami's interest in Glenn, 34, has been widely speculated since he was waived by the Cowboys last week because of concerns about his surgically repaired knee. Glenn, though, previously played for Bill Parcells in both New England and Dallas. His presence in Miami would bolster a weak corps of receivers. In 2006, during his last healthy season, Glenn caught 70 passes for 1,047 yards. During Tuesday's practice, the Dolphins' receivers combined for four badly dropped passes in two hours."Unless Glenn's knee is not attached to his body, he will pass the physical in Miami -- trust me on this one.

Depending on whom you ask, rookie tight end Martellus Bennett is either improving or just unremarkable. The Dallas Cowboys decided to trade away former tight end Anthony Fasano, partially because Jason Witten is Super Man and so remarkable that the team could take such a risk.

I think trading for Bucs back-up quarterback Chris Simms is smart. I know that Dallas, Chicago and Green Bay have inquired about Simms. Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens sat out of his second consecutive practice this morning. Owens was given another break by HC Wade Phillips. "It wasn't like I was looking for a day off. ... I'm just doing what the coaches are telling me to do," Owens said. "If I was hurt, I'd be in the training room somewhere or be out working with the trainers. But I feel fine, I feel good."
