T-minus two days to yet another trip to the Bay Area, where the Jets seem to visit more than any team except those in the AFC West. The Jets are leaving tomorrow, but I won't be heading out until Saturday, sans golf clubs. I usually play a round at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, but not this time. As the players like to say, this is strictly a business trip. Besides, I already got my golf fix for the week on Tuesday at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, L.I. (Sorry, I had to sneak that in there.)
On to football matters:
WR Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) and WR Brad Smith (quad) didn't practice at all. Cotchery has "a real shot" to play Sunday, according to Rex Ryan. Smith, not so much.

Come to think of it, it looked like they did less than yesterday during the individual and positional drills.
